Actor Anne Heche 'expected to pull through' following fiery Los Angeles crash, ex says
The crash into a home sparked a “heavy fire,” a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said.
Aug. 6, 2022
The crash into a home in the Mar Vista neighborhood sparked a “heavy fire,” which was put out in a little more than an hour, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said in two email alerts.
The driver was pulled from the vehicle by LAFD rescuers and taken to a hospital with critical injuries, he said.
“Anne is currently in stable condition," Heche's spokesperson said. "Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time.”
Thomas Jane, an ex-boyfriend, said Heche is intubated but is "expected to pull through."
"While Anne and I are no longer an item, todays tragic news was devastating to me and to all who love her. My heart goes out to Anne and her two sons," he said in a statement. "My thoughts and prayers are with Anne, one of the true talents of her generation. Thank God no one else was hurt."
The home sustained heavy damage, but no other injuries were reported, Humphrey said. The crash was reported just before 11 a.m.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said the crash was under investigation and that there was no immediate indication regarding its cause.
It was possible, he said, the patient would be subject to a blood draw as part of the police investigation. In California, police don't need a warrant for a blood draw if a person was arrested on a DUI charge prior to the test.
Such arrests can be made based on officers' observations and circumstantial evidence such as drugs or alcohol in a vehicle.

Veteran Spokane Valley firefighter will not recover from cardiac arrest
July 31, 2022
Spokane Valley, Wash. – Spokane Valley Fire Department (SVFD) shares today that veteran firefighter and engineer, Dan Patterson, will not recover following a cardiac arrest on Thursday, July 21. SVFD says Patterson finished a 24-hour shift and headed out for a run after.
“Firefighter Patterson believed in keeping himself fit for duty and would often head out for a run after completing his regular shift,” explains SVFD. “This day was no different, and after his shift at Station 6 where he was working as an out-of-class Engineer, he drove to Station 2 and went out for his regular run routine.”
His family stated on a GoFundMe page that Patterson began to feel unwell near the end of his route and called his wife to let her know he was headed back to Station 2. Patterson was able to make it back to the entrance of Station 2, where he went into cardiac arrest and collapsed.
Crew members located him at the front door and immediately began resuscitative efforts. SVFD states they were able to regain a pulse, and Patterson was transported to Sacred Heart, where he has remained on life support. On Saturday, July 30, neurological exam results showed he would not recover.

Vaccine-Induced Myocarditis in Two Intern Doctors in the Same Night Shift
July 19, 2022
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has affected millions of people around the globe and vaccines against the disease have started to develop. Side effects of the vaccine have been reported in the literature, including myocarditis, which has a very low incidence and with a good prognosis. This case report aims to present two medical students’ vaccine-induced myocarditis cases after the first doses of BNT162b2.
These patients were young males with no previous medical history and both of them had good recovery after the disease. Both of them had their vaccine very recently before the event. These cases show that myocarditis can be seen after the first dose as well.
Global vaccination is the most effective prevention method against COVID-19. Considering the fact that morbidities after the disease occur more than the side effects of the vaccine, they are still the best option against the current pandemic.
Two sixth-year medical students with no known previous medical history complained about palpitations and chest pain during their night shift. They had their first dose of BNT162b2 two and four days prior.
Baby who had his arm amputated at just 10 days old celebrates first birthday
July 25, 2022
Little Zack Reilly had a rocky start to life. He was born by emergency caesarean at 37 weeks on July 11 2021 with a ‘bruised and blistered’ left arm – which had to be amputated ten days later, as it was ‘dead’. The also baby survived blood clots in his brain and arm while in the womb – but his parents are still unsure how this will affect him later in life.
After doctors removed Zack’s arm 10 days after his birth, they also gave him an MRI and discovered that he had experienced a stroke in the womb. This has left him with brain damage, which could affect his mobility, muscle control and speech as he continues to grow.
Yet, the beaming boy has just celebrated his first birthday and completed his first week of nursery. And his parents, 29-year-old Royal Navy assistant careers advisor Libby Francis and 28-year-old telecoms engineer Owen Reilly, are delighted by his progress so far.
Much-loved baby boy left with brain damage after stroke on first birthday
August 3, 2022
A beloved baby boy described as 'boisterious' by his family has been left with serious brain damage after suffering a stroke on his first birthday. Blake Hanchett, 17 months old, is now mentally and physically disabled and cannot walk or talk after a series of devastating strokes, reports YorkshireLive.
The alarm was first raised by grandmother Janet after she noticed one of his arms had become floppy, with his mum Kelly, 29, finding his condition had seriously 'deteriorated' after she raced over to his aid only five minutes later. After being taken to hospital, Blake suffered at least four more strokes and spent the next 16 weeks at Leeds General Infirmary.
Doctors believe Blake has a genetic condition that means he was born with narrow carotid arteries in his neck, as well as further narrowed blood vessels that cannot be operated on. He has also been diagnosed with dystonia, which can causes movement spasms and contractions.

Bologna: heart attack on the Asinelli tower, they intervene with the defibrillator
August 8, 2022
Bologna - An afternoon of fear today on the Torre degli Asinelli, in the center of Bologna, for a person who fell ill while on the monument. A middle-aged tourist, of Spanish nationality and in the company of his family, fell ill at the top of the tower. The defibrillator was used for what was a beginning of a heart attack. On the spot, in addition to the Local Police who regulated the traffic, to allow the easier passage of the emergency vehicles, the 118 operators and the Fire Brigade also intervened, in particular with the speleological service engaged in the task of getting the person off from the tower.
The illness occurred while he was on the top floor of the tower, about 80 meters high, just before reaching the panoramic terrace on the top. He was immediately defibrillated, with the instrument supplied with the tower, and he was given both heart massage and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. A special stretcher supplied to the firefighters was used to get the man down from the tower, which allows passage even from narrow spaces such as the internal stairs of the Asinelli.
Furthermore, on each floor, the stretcher bearers took turns, also given the man's sturdy build. In the end, the surgery lasted two hours and ended shortly after 4 pm. Upon exiting the tower, the man was greeted by the applause of the citizens who had stopped to watch and of the other tourists who in the meantime had been let out by the Asinelli. Loaded into the ambulance, he was taken to the Sant'Orsola Polyclinic in Bologna in stable and conscious conditions.

Vladimir Putin's former adviser Anatoly Chubais hospitalised with suspected immune disorder
August 1, 2022
Former adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Anatoly Chubais, has been admitted to a European intensive care ward with a rare immune disorder.
Two sources close to Mr Chubais said the 67-year-old believed he was suffering from Guillain-Barre syndrome, a disease caused by the immune system damaging the peripheral nervous system.
Mr Chubais cannot walk but is able to talk, and his wife Avdotya Smirnova reportedly at his side in hospital.
"He thinks it's a disease," a source told Reuters on condition of anonymity.
"Doctors say they found it in time."
A European intelligence agency was looking into the case but had not disclosed the results yet, that source said.
Some media and opposition activists had speculated Mr Chubais could have been poisoned.
Two follow-ups:
“I no longer feel my hands and feet”: Anatoly Chubais diagnosed with Guillain Barrè syndrome
August 2, 2022
Rome - "I can't move, I no longer feel my hands and feet". Anatoly Chubais said this to his wife before being transferred from the Costa Smeralda, where he was on vacation, to a European clinic where he is now hospitalized. The Russian economist, once close to President Vladimir Putin, would have been diagnosed with Guillain Barré syndrome. What is it about? The Dire agency talked about it with Professor Giancarlo Zito, a neurologist at IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana in Rome.
“Guillain Barré syndrome," explains the expert, "is an acute inflammatory autoimmune polyradiculoneuritis. It is a pathology that affects the peripheral nervous system, therefore our nerves, due to an aberrant autoimmune response of our own immune system against our own nerves on insult that is normally given by an external virus and of which we are not at all aware. It is in fact very unlikely, if not impossible, to be able to trace the precise etiology of the triggering factor. It is something that cannot be foreseen”.
The Lancet disagrees with the Italian expert:
The Lancet: Guillain-Barré syndrome after vaccination against COVID-19
December 17, 2021
Guillain-Barré syndrome after vaccination against COVID-19 has been reported worldwide. Albeit rare, Guillain-Barré syndrome after vaccination is of great public concern given that it could potentially result in life-threatening paralysis. We report the findings of two patients with Guillain-Barré syndrome after receiving the BNT162b2 vaccine (tozinameran, Pfizer–BioNTech) who were in complete remission from diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Video: unconscious driver rammed a car with children on the Baikal highway
August 1, 2022
A video of an accident on the Baikal federal highway appeared on the telegram channel “All Ulan-Ude • Buryatia”. The Mitsubishi Outlander crossover crashed several times into a car in front of a car in which children were traveling.
The incident, which occurred on July 25 in the Slyudyansky district, was later commented on at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Irkutsk Region.
According to preliminary information, the 65-year-old man who was driving the crossover suddenly became ill, he was taken to the district hospital that evening. The passenger of the car, his wife, who managed to cock the handbrake and stop the car from moving, helped to avoid more serious consequences of the accident, the publication reported.
It occurred to me while reading this report that those friends and family that have taken the jab don’t want to know what the future holds. To be honest, I don’t want to know what the future holds for my loved ones that took the jab. I spoke with a friend last night that said her son-in-law and her daughter voluntarily went to the hospital to take Remdesiver in order to help boost their immunity, when they had Covid. That same friend just got out of the hospital for a surgical procedure and they gave her Paxlovid after she came down with Covid. She said she wasn’t very sick but her doctor recommended the treatment. MCM’s information has helped me to see that the medical industry is not what it appears to be and to question everything. Thanks MCM. The world is a propaganda experiment. Is it better to withdraw and not see the propaganda news and trust your instincts or to watch the propaganda news to see what the propagandists are up to? I definitely like to see what these writings and reports have to say, but avoid cable news like it is a Covid outbreak.
It's so easy to see what's happening when you see all these reports.. and I'm sure you're only finding the tip of the iceberg. Do we really think the powers that be don't know these things are happening? They have to know. They have to see. It's so frequent and happening everywhere.
