Dog stays by side of hiker who died on Mingus Mountain trailhead in Arizona
May 18, 2022
The remains of Donald Hayes, 74, were found Wednesday after he went missing on the Wood Chute trailhead on Mingus Mountain on Friday.
Hayes was found in a rugged area difficult to reach by searchers, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said in a release. His dog, Ranger, who was with Hayes on the hike, was also found and "remained with the victim." Ranger was taken to an animal hospital for treatment, Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kristin Greene said.
Search and rescue teams from various local agencies searched on land and air for days trying to locate Hayes, but ultimately had trouble due to the difficult terrain and the amount of area needed to be searched, Greene said.
“I thank all the volunteer search and rescue teams and others who gave of their time for six days to locate the victim and bring him home. Our searchers utilized every tool at their disposal to find Mr. Hayes and never gave up," Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes.
According to YCSO, the Forest Patrol was able to contact Hayes on Friday about 2 p.m. on his cellphone. Hayes said he did not want to wait for a rescue and he was "continuing down a ravine," and said he would be turning off his phone to save the battery.
Hayes was able to contact his wife as well that afternoon to say that he and his dog, Ranger, were lost, YCSO said.

Driver Dies After Suffering Medical Episode, Hitting Utility Poles In Lehigh Valley, Police Say
May 18, 2022
A 71-year-old driver died after suffering a medical emergency and crashing into two utility poles in the Lehigh Valley, PA, authorities said. Richard Hetzel was behind the wheel of a gray Ford pickup truck towing a landscaping trailer loaded with dirt and grass sod heading east on William Penn Highway when he suffered a medical episode and went unconscious just after 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, Bethlehem Township Police Chief Gregory J. Gottschall told DailyVoice.com.
Hetzel, of Easton, veered to the left near the intersection with Sheridan Drive before crossing over the west bound lane and onto the shoulder on the north side of the roadway, Gottschall said. Hetzel then crashed into and snapped a PPL utility pole, continued driving on the shoulder, and struck another utility pole before the truck came to a stop.
Hetzel was taken to the trauma center at St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus and later pronounced dead, Gottschall said. Both Hetzel and his passenger were wearing their seatbelts during the crash, which also caused the truck’s airbags to deploy. His passenger was not seriously hurt.

Jesse Barata
May 22, 2022
Madison/Sun Prairie, WI - Jesse Barata died unexpectedly in her sleep on April 14, 2022. Jesse was the life of the party, but she was notorious for leaving without saying goodbye. She called this the "mystery dip." I feel like Jesse would want me to point out that her sudden departure from this mortal realm was the ultimate mystery dip. She brought joy and laughter everywhere she went, then she quietly left the party.
Her time here was far too short, but she sure made a lasting impact. Jesse was my twin sister, and we have matching wombmates tattoos to prove it. Jesse said that we started a band in utero called the Fetal Allstars. She played the Fallopian tubes, and I strummed the umbilical cord.
She played multiple instruments, could read music and had many creative interests. She loved animals, reading, and sitting quietly.
She may have mystery dipped, but her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched with her extraordinary presence, and quite literally through organ and tissue donation.

Just lost a lifetime friend who died suddenly at 55 years old in his sleep on Monday night. I will find out this weekend how recently he was jabbed or boosted. So tragic. Four kids in their 20’s. Devastated.
I don’t know why I am so drawn to these stories.... perhaps just a few of them are, indeed, “natural” but the huge numbers of all-cause mortality deaths (and reams of anecdotal evidence) are just too stark to ignore. Not to mention the children!! And these are just the people who “died suddenly.” How many others are permanently harmed in one way or another? Thanks for posting these, Mark.
I’m a healthy 68 year old. On paper, no one would think my death usual, but everyone who knows me would be shocked, shocked, shocked.
Now, time to go for a quick run in the park... and no worries — I’m jab-free! — that I’ll drop dead from a sudden heart attack.
For those interested, here’s my latest video on the topic: https://rumble.com/v15met9-hey-maga-patriots...the-system-is-crumbling-and-why-that-is-good-episode-97.html
