Drag performer, 25, dies mid-performance at Philadelphia bar
September 15, 2022
A Philadelphia drag performer beloved by the local LGBTQ community died Monday night during a performance at a popular gay bar. Valencia Prime, 25, was performing at Tabu Lounge and Sports bar, in the heart of Philadelphia's Gayborhood, when she collapsed on stage, bar owner Jeffrey Sotland said. "Today we mourn the loss of a very bright and rising star in the performance community and a person who was always full of love and positivity," the venue said in a statement on social media. "We say goodbye to Valencia Prime but we will not forget the light you brought to the stage."
Tributes from other performers poured in after the news spread. Prime, a transgender woman, had dubbed herself “Philadelphia’s plus-size dancing diva.” “This community has suffered so much loss in the last few years. Valencia Prime was a talent and a delightful person. Rest in power, babe,” Timaree Leigh, a sexuality educator and burlesque performer, tweeted.
No cause of death reported.
Prime was “pro-jab”:
A 25-year-old Philadelphia drag queen who was outspoken about forcing the COVID vaccine into the bodies of Americans has died after collapsing mid-performance. Doctors say the death was brought on by “cardiovascular disease,” a frequent calling card of COVID jab-induced deaths.
While local news reports have neglected to connect the dots between the COVID jab and the public death of Valencia Prime, the Philadelphia drag performer was an outspoken advocate for mass COVID “vaccination,” and posted on social media that those who hadn’t submitted to the jab should lose their rights.
In a Facebook post made earlier this year, Prime claimed that “if you’re refusing to get vaccinated or to even wearing [sic] a mask then you’ve lost the right to complain about the COVID.”

Surf-skateboard prodigy Kalani David reported dead at 24
September 18, 2022
Hawaii surfing and skateboard prodigy Kalani David has been reported dead at the age of 24. The surfing news site The Inertia reported that Mr David was surfing off the Costa Rican coast when he suffered a seizure. The site stated that Mr David had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which means that he could have a very fast heartbeat, something referred to as tachycardia. The syndrome affects between one and three out of every 1,000 people globally, Newsweek noted.
The affliction isn’t dangerous for most people, according to John Hopkins Medicine. “The biggest risk is for sudden death from a heart attack, which tachycardia can cause. However, this is extremely rare, occurring in less than one-half of one per cent of cases,” John Hopkins states.
Surfer Kelly Slater wrote in an Instagram story that “Kalani was one of the most talented ... surfer/skater on Earth, constantly pushing the limits every time he was on his feet ... Condolences to the huge community of friends Kalani had coast to coast and across the globe”.
The Inertia reported that Mr David previously experienced a seizure in 2016 when he was skating in Oceanside, California. Early the following year, he had surgery to remove additional muscle that had developed around his heart, leading to the seizures.

Amherst community mourns death of ARHS junior
September 19, 2022
Amherst, MA — Family, friends and students at Amherst Regional High School are mourning the death of a junior who had been hospitalized since suffering an apparent cardiac issue during a Sept. 13 cross country meet. On Sunday, a message was sent to students, families and the district’s faculty and staff informing them of the death of Anna Burns, 16, a member of the Class of 2024.
The family’s letter elaborates on the circumstances of the incident that claimed Burns’ life. Burns identified as nonbinary and used the pronoun “they.” “Anna Burns’s heart stopped beating suddenly at the end of their cross country meet last Tuesday in Ludlow. We still don’t know why. We understand that people on site and the EMTs tried so hard to revive Anna and they did get their heart to beat again. Unfortunately, their brain was without oxygen too long and they never regained consciousness.”
“Typical of Anna, they wanted to donate their organs if anything like this happened,” the letter continues. “Transplant patients have been found and we are grateful that other people will benefit from this awful loss.”
On the memorial page, an obituary describes the sports teams on which Burns participated, including cross country skiing, ultimate and cross country, places where Burns was at home, like the Morse Hill Outdoor Education Center in Shutesbury, and an interest in education, as well as fighting climate change as a leader of the local Sunrise Movement.
Amherst Regional High School’s “vaccination” mandate:
State public health officials announced that influenza immunization will be required for all children 6 months of age or older who are attending Massachusetts child care, pre-school, kindergarten, K-12, and colleges and universities.

Mystery solved: It’s not the jabs, it’s the air:
The more polluted the air, the more healthy teens are at risk of heart disease, study finds
September 15, 2022
American researchers have highlighted the heart risks associated with exposure to polluted air, including among adolescents. This is, according to the researchers, the first comprehensive study on the subject. And it is alarming. The inhalation of fine particles due to air pollution would considerably increase the risk of suffering from heart disease in adolescents. The results of this study, conducted by scientists from the University of Pennsylvania, published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, are all the more worrying as they show similar effects in young people and in seniors. Worse still, these risks of heart disease – in particular arrhythmia, that is to say irregular rhythm of the heart – occur even when the air quality is considered good by the measuring tools in currently in force.
The discovery is therefore major, and very worrying. "This suggests that air pollution could create arrhythmias and contribute to cardiac arrests among the youngest, which would be a tragedy for families and entire communities," said Dr. Fan He, director of the study. To conduct this study, American scientists tested more than 300 teenagers from Pennsylvania by measuring their heart rate. Each wore an electrocardiogram and kits to test air quality for twenty-four hours. They then had to live their lives normally and come back the next day to hand over these items to the researchers. The latter found that, from two hours of exposure, the risk of developing heart disease increased by 5%, for every 10 micrograms per cubic meter of fine particles inhaled.
According to the researchers, wearing a mask and avoiding sports outdoors on pollution days or during rush hour in the city could help reduce the risk of exposure.

A sports journalist “died suddenly”:
Remembering a gentle company man, Steve Brandon
September 12, 2022
"Well … shoot."
Steve Brandon, an original member of the Portland [Oregon] Tribune staff and longtime staple of the city's sports scene, would never get too high or too low when dealing with his job. "Well … shoot," he would say. "We'll make it work." And you knew he would confidently lead the way in taking care of things — with a smile, talent, positivity and the gentle and sweet demeanor befitting somebody who enjoyed his position in life. Anybody who met Steve couldn't forget him. And, a lot of people knew Steve, and liked him. Steve Brandon was the type of person you wanted to be around.
So, now we have to deal with life without him. The former Tribune sports editor (2001-20), died Friday, Sept. 9, from an apparent heart attack. It stunned me and others who knew him. Steve was 68, and he was working as a part-time sports reporter at the Polk County Itemizer-Observer in Dallas. He was somebody who was always there, always dependable, always enthusiastic and always willing to share any and all institutional knowledge.
Steve exemplified hard work. No wonder he adored the late, great Arnold Palmer, the working man's golfer. I'm proud to say I worked with Steve for 20 years, and while the stories abound, it's more the person that I will miss dearly.

We learned about this death news through a user on social media, the statement reads: “The Jewish Center for Justice community is mourning the loss of board member Micah Bycel (z”l). We are devastated as we grieve the sudden and untimely death of Micah, who passed away on the evening of Saturday, August 27 in Lafayette, CA."
Astonishing...
This isn't normal. It is creepy as all fuck...
This is crazy. Out of curiosity, I checked my local paper’s obituaries. The paper covers a population of around 70k. There are over 50 listings since August 27. Most list no cause of death. Those that do are replete with “natural causes”, “age related”, “short illness”, “aggressive cancer”, “unexpectedly”, and heart failure”. One listed as “brain aneurysm”. If my area is indicative of everywhere else we should soon start seeing less people on the streets.
Thank you for keeping this list going. It is sobering every time I read it.
