Sens: A policeman dies after feeling unwell during a motorcycle training

A 37-year-old policeman died on Thursday after feeling unwell during an initial training motorcycle course at the national police school (ENP) in Sens (Yonne). The policeman participated in this internship with several other officials. During a break, the man in his thirties suddenly felt unwell and lost consciousness. The firefighters were alerted and took charge of the policeman, who was married with two children. He was evacuated to the Sens hospital, then transferred to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris, where he finally died.

Bredene - Driver (67) dies after he becomes unwell and drives into a parked vehicle

Local residents were startled by a loud bang around 7 am on Saturday morning. A 67-year-old man crashed into a parked Tesla with his Renault Kangoo in the Slokkenstraat, near the Bredene water tower. The man probably became unwell behind the wheel and drove out of his lane. The owner of the Tesla immediately called the emergency services and smashed the window to get to the man while waiting for the ambulance services, as the vehicle was locked. At that time, the man was still breathing, but no longer conscious. The emergency services eventually arrived quickly on the scene and the police from the Bredene/De Haan police zone partially closed the street. Traffic was temporarily diverted. Meanwhile, the man was resuscitated on the spot. The mother of the owner of the Tesla – a nurse – helped the paramedics while waiting for the MUG. After a long resuscitation, the man was taken to the AZ Damiaan Hospital in Ostend in a critical condition. He eventually died there. According to the police, everything indicates that the man became unwell behind the wheel. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

On 28 August he had been rushed to the hospital following an illness he accused two hours after starting to run the Petite trotte à léon (Ptl), a team race on the Mont Blanc Ultra Trail circuit (Utmb). Starting from Chamonix, the route winds its way for 300 kilometers and 25,000 meters of positive difference in altitude between the French Alps, the Aosta Valley and the Canton of Valais. Drama on the beach in San Teodoro, in the north-east of Sardinia. A 63-year-old Swiss tourist died on the beach in Cala D'Ambra, south of the well-known tourist resort. The tragedy is without witnesses. When he was rescued, he was already deceased. The alarm was given by a swimmer on the coast. He would have been struck down by a sudden illness.
