Former Governor of Sinaloa Jesús Aguilar Padilla dies

Jesús Alberto Aguilar Padilla, former Governor of Sinaloa, passed away this Monday afternoon at the age of 70. The news of his death was confirmed by Governor Rubén Rocha Moya through a post on Twitter. “With deep regret, I regret the sensitive and irreparable loss of Governor Jesús Alberto Aguilar Padilla, a close friend. My deepest condolences and solidarity to his son Jesus, his daughters Iris, Consuelo, Celeste and his loved ones. Rest in peace,” he expressed. He served as Governor of Sinaloa from 2005 to 2010 and before that he was a local Deputy. In 2012 he assumed the position of Undersecretary of Agriculture in the Government of Mexico, under the administration of former President Enrique Peña Nieto.

62-year old man dies on public roads

A man who was walking down Baca Ortiz street, in the area of the Ex Campo Deportivo, died this Tuesday shortly after 1:00 p.m. after suffering a medical crisis on public roads. It was previously reported that he was 62 years old, and responded to the name of Ramon Hernandez Rodriguez. According to witnesses, the man began to feel bad walking around that area without company, so a tenant, noticing his condition, offered to help. The young merchant gave him a chair and helped him sit down, but moments later he was unconscious. At the scene, after a call to the emergency numbers, Public Security and Mexican Red Cross personnel arrived, but the patient no longer had vital signs. Given the situation, it is believed that the now deceased would have suffered a cardiac collapse. The State Attorney General's Office took charge of his remains.
Man dies in cablebus in Indios Verdes - his corpse not picked up for 7 hours

Mexico City - Seven hours after a man died, experts from the prosecutor's office arrived at the whereabouts of the Indios Verdes cablebus to pick up the body. Yesterday after 4:00 in the afternoon, passengers leaving the cablebus station at the Gustavo A Madero city hall saw the man fall. Although they approached to try to help him, they failed to stabilize him. That's why the witnesses asked for help from cablebus staff and paramedics to come and check on the passenger. Upon arrival, rescuers indicated that the man had died and that perhaps a cardiac arrest had caused his death. The corpse remained all afternoon on the edge of a sidewalk and waiting for the workers of the prosecutor's office to arrive to lift it. It was almost at 10:00 at night when the ambulance arrived at the site to pick up the body.

Woman dies inside a temple in Zapopan

A 25-year-old woman died inside the Temple of San Nicolás de Bari, in the Juan Manuel Vallarta Neighborhood of Zapopan. Her body showed no signs of violence, witnesses detailed that the woman arrived at the crypts area of the temple located on Libra Street, near Aquarius, and then fainted. The young woman was identified by her relatives who were notified of the fact and attended. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene, the body was transferred to the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences to perform the corresponding protocol and determine the cause of death.

Sudden deaths on public roads: how many findings have been recorded so far in 2023 and where is it happening most

The relief agencies on their Twitter accounts daily report events in which people are injured or killed in traffic accidents or by acts of violence. However, so far in January 2023 they have also reported the finding of dead people on public roads and without signs of violence. Most of the findings have occurred in the capital and the surrounding territory. In a monitoring of the accounts of Municipal, Volunteer and Departmental Municipal Firefighters, the findings showed a total of 17 corpses so far in 2023. One of the first finds occurred on January 2nd at 5th Avenue and 2nd street of Ciudad Real 1, in zone 12 of Villa Nueva. A 35-year-old man was found dead on the street. The body had no signs of violence and the cause of death is unknown, according to the report of rescuers. On January 9, a man in his 40s was found lifeless on 30th Street and 11th Avenue "B" in zone 5 of the capital. He also had no signs of violence and was on the asphalt tape. A similar case was registered on the 11th of the same month in the 14th avenue and 39th street of the 8th zone of the capital, where a man of approximately 40 years was located lifeless on the public road. The 8th Avenue and 17th street of zone 1 of the city was also the scene of a find on January 16, when rescuers reported that a man was reported as fainted, but when evaluating him he was already deceased and also had no signs of violence. On January 18, another similar case was on the 2nd avenue and 3rd street of the 10th zone of the capital, where a man of about 47 years was lifeless on a sidewalk. Firefighters did not establish the cause of death. On January 25, an approximately 65-year-old man died of possible cardiac arrest at 32nd Street and 7th Avenue, in zone 8. This Friday, January 27, rescuers reported that a person with no signs of violence was located deceased on the 11th Avenue and 12th street of zone 7, in the La Verbena neighborhood. The body was on the side of a sidewalk.

Young man dies of drowning after suffering cardiac arrest

Eduardo Santos, 19, a resident of the community of El Cobre, Veraguas, drowned after suffering a cardiac arrest while bathing in the river of the same name. Arturo González, a rescuer from the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) in Santiago, reported that the boy was pulled from the waters to provide first aid and subsequent medical attention at the Veraguas hospital, where he died.

Terrible drama on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. A 17-year-old high school student died this Thursday after "collapsing" during a physical Education and sports (EPS) class, report our colleagues from Guadeloupe. The precise circumstances of the accident have not been communicated. The drama took place in the morning, at the municipal stadium Réné Sege Nabajoth, in the town of Abymes. In Trinidad & Tobago, local entertainer and radio personality Anil Bheem passed away suddenly on Saturday morning. This happened just hours after he performed at two pre-carnival events. His death was confirmed at around 6:20 am by his employer, 103.1fm, in a Facebook post. Details of his death have not yet been announced. Bheem also known as The Vocalist Anil Bheem, was also known outside Trinidad for his YouTube hit 'The Indian Anthem' with which he reached almost 3 million views.

It happened in the middle of a class, when a professor at the University of the Andes, located in Merida, Venezuela, suffered a cardiac arrest from which he could not recover. When he underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation, he had no vital signs. It is about the mathematics teacher Arnaldo Méndez Urrieta, 49 years old. At the time of his collapse, his students were taking an exam and, seeing the teacher on the ground, they called the firefighters of the institution, responsible for the health and protection of the members of the university, to try to save the teacher's life but it was already too late.

Child miraculously escapes death after two-car collision and driver killed

It was morning when a runaway car, after suffering a collision of another car, advanced on the sidewalk and by a miracle did not hit the child. The boy was playing on the sidewalk in front of his house under the gaze of his mother, when suddenly the dark car that was parked a few centimeters from the child was violently hit by the Fiat Toro vehicle. The fright was so great that relatives of his were dumbfounded watching the two cars, one pulled up on the sidewalk of the family home, and the other, out of control following until hitting a tree on the sidewalk across the street. It is not known the reason, but what seems (and later confirmed) is that the driver of the white car that hit the parked dark car was feeling ill, since even after the collision the vehicle went aimlessly until it stopped in a tree. Fortunately no one was passing on the other side at that moment. While the boy with the first name Michael (Archangel Michael's name meaning` who is with God') miraculously got out of the accident, the driver of the Fiat Toro truck ended up dying. The driver was 59.

Pagoda singer Messias Cavalcante, 42, died in the early hours of Sunday (5th) of a fulminant heart attack after arriving from a concert in Rio Branco. The artist had enlarged heart and planned to do a new catheterization after Carnival. Cavalcante's wife, Débora Lopes, said that her husband had done shows in the afternoon and evening of this Saturday (4th) normally. When he came home, the singer had dinner, lay down to sleep and soon began to feel unwell. "He arrived, had dinner, went to bed and simply had a heart attack and died on the spot. Not even two minutes. I called Samu, but it took a long time and when they arrived he was already dead," she lamented.

He was identified as José Aparecido Monteiro, 54, the man found dead in a hotel room in the center of Curitiba, next to a paper requesting a lottery award for R$ 398,000 [USD $77,000]. The victim was found on the afternoon of last Thursday by employees of the establishment that is on Mariano Torres Street. José Aparecido was a native of Campo Mourão, in the Midwest of Paraná, where the body was sent and buried on Saturday (4/2). He probably suffered a heart attack.
UFPI agronomic engineering student dies of heart attack

The agronomic engineering student of the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), Luiz Felipe Lima Rocha, died this Saturday (04th) victim of a fulminant heart attack. The young man was in the third period of the course at the campus Ministro Petrônio Portela, in Teresina. UFPI issued a statement lamenting the student's early death. "In the Face of such an early loss, the University wishes the sincerest condolences to Luiz Felipe's family and friends,” the statement said.

On the morning of Wednesday (02th), Frank Gil Fonseca de Castro, 45, known as “Baleia”, was found dead in Beco Independência, in the municipality of Parintins, located 369 km away from Manaus. The body was identified by the victim's family, who lived near the scene. According to necropsy technician Benedito Pimentel, the cause of death was acute myocardial infarction. Argentinian mother, Yamil Guevara, has taken to social media to share her heart-wrenching story and express her outrage against the COVID-19 vaccine after her 8-year-old daughter, Yasmina Antonella Guevara, died from vasculitis, an inflammation of the blood vessels, which she developed after receiving the vaccine. “My daughter was a healthy girl, she never suffered from any illnesses. After receiving the COVID vaccine, she started experiencing body aches and other symptoms she had never had before. She was the first case in Argentina of what was deemed as vasculitis and the doctors were unable to treat her, resulting in her passing away, leaving a great pain in our family,” wrote Mrs. Guevara on her Facebook account. “For you, my daughter, I will let each of my friends and contacts know that we must say no to the COVID vaccine because they are poisoning us and we cannot allow them to continue killing people. For you, my daughter, we will save more lives,” she wrote.

On Sunday at 7:45 p.m., members of the Primero de Mayo Subcommission Station based in Clorinda, learned of the admission of a young man to the local hospital, who had decompensated on a 5-a-side soccer field in the 300 Viviendas neighborhood and minutes later passed away. The uniformed men went to the field located on Néstor Kirchner and Leandro Allen avenues, where they spoke with the people who were in the place in order to collect data and testimonies from eyewitnesses to the event. As it was learned, the victim, identified as 20-year-old Mauricio Alejandro Muller, was playing soccer, then left the game because he felt bad and decompensated, for which he was taken to the local hospital in a private vehicle, and minutes later he passed away. At the scene of the event, the procedural steps were carried out with the participation of the Scientific Police Delegation, while the judicial coroner on duty reported "non-traumatic cardiorespiratory arrest" as the cause of death.
