42 yr old neighbour here north of Toronto keeled over of a heart attack in early May, in his home.

The dog walker found him when he should have been at work, with his two German Shepherds laying beside him in a cuddle 😭

I am waiting for the news of more friends and family, all jabbed and oblivious to their fate. And I am not referring to what will happen to the body they occupy, but rather the everlasting personality that is WHO they are, forever apart from God.

I look at the fervor/joy/excitement (to be known by God) that is now so clearly evident and am wistful that it has arrived so late to the battle. A battle that I sensed but never pursued until that trap was sprung.

Despite it all, there is much more reason for joy than for sorrow. For courage rather than fear. For engagement rather than ambivalence.
