Arlen Scott Peters, 72
May 24, 2022
Arlen Scott Peters was born on March 13, 1950, and died suddenly on May 24, 2021. Arlen wasn't famous - but he interviewed hundreds of Hollywood's rich-and-famous in his half-century industry career, which began right out of high school in 1968, when he landed a job at CBS/Columbia Square on Sunset Boulevard in his hometown of Los Angeles. You may not know him, but Meryl Streep did, as did Gene Hackman, Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Jimmy Stewart, and scores of other Hollywood notables who considered him not only an industry colleague, but a friend as well.
One could always find Arlen at any of L.A.'s legendary delis (Canters, Art's, Langers) chowing down on a corned beef sandwich with one of his small cadre of friends. He is survived by his wife of 25+ years, Mary (they married on October 22, 1994), with whom he honeymooned in the Carmel Highlands. She misses him dearly, especially his sense-of-humor (Arlen could turn a phrase with punlike guffaws as well as any seasoned comedy writer), his keen intellect and his loving and devoted compassion.

I want to write something in the comments of every condolence page, something like DEMOCIDE or We will avenge these injection deaths or...Telling us they died of injection injury might save a life...but I don't. I can offer no sympathy or condolences, only angst. Mark, you are doing the only sensible thing, just iterating and reinterating and reiterating...but I am so frustrated with the blindness and the....how can this be really happening? I see the history leading up to it, but wtf.
There's a Deagel 2014 forecast, which predicts the US population will be only 99 million by 2025. That doesn't seem so implausible anymore.
