The latest post on Facebook recalls the evening of last Wednesday, at the presentation of a dear friend's book on the terrace of the Revoltella Museum, amidst laughter and jokes between men who have theater and a sense of rhythm inside. He should have returned to that terrace next August 3, this time to present his book, the last, "Trieste without bora", in which he had chosen to talk about his city from a different perspective: three stories in which the protagonists find themselves immersed in an immobile and milky dimension, almost waiting for something, for an event, for an encounter.
And in the last one could not miss the painter who had bewitched him, Leonor Fini, with her furious hair and her worshipers, of which this time he had chosen to imagine himself as the son, indeed the cat-son, as she would have liked. His tales of the city without the wind were born during an artistic residency at the House of Writers in Pazin and one of them also featured Tadeusz Kantor, bewildered in the streets of Trieste by the ghost of his father. Journalist Amedeo Ricucci died at the age of 63 in Calabria. He was born in Cetrano, in the province of Cosenza, on July 31, 1958. He has been a professional journalist since 1998. During his long career, he has obtained several awards including the Javier Valdez Award (2020), the Carlo Azeglio Ciampi "Straight Back" Award ( 2019), the Acqui Storia Award (2019) for History on TV, the Ilaria Alpi Award (2001), the Journalists of the Mediterranean Award (2012 and 2015).
He has followed the conflicts in Algeria, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. In 2002 he witnessed the death in Ramallah of the photo-reporter Raffaele Ciriello, killed under the bullets of the Israeli army during the second Palestinian Intifada. Ricucci was also kidnapped in Syria by the jihadist group Al Nusra, close to Al Qaeda, from 3 to 13 April 2013, in the midst of the first phase of the civil war that erupted after the Arab Springs.

Mourning in Cortemaggiore, a small town in the province of Piacenza in Emilia-Romagna: a 54-year-old carabiniere died after being struck by a sudden illness. This is the second lieutenant of the carabinieri Salvatore Cristiano, who for 16 years had been commander of the Cortemaggiore station, where he still lived despite having just been assigned to the First Carabinieri School Regiment of Florence.
Salvatore, however, was seized by a sudden illness that left him no way out. The carabiniere, 54, would have felt ill all of a sudden and would have collapsed to the ground. The rescue efforts arrived promptly on the spot seem useless. Once he was rushed to the emergency room, the doctors could not help but ascertain his death.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that we have heard of sudden illness for a member of the police. Many think he is linked to the Covid vaccine. Alberto Bressan, 53 years old from Vicenza, a great sportsman and triathlon practitioner was seized by a sudden illness and collapsed to the ground. The running enthusiast died while he was jogging in Santa Maria del Mare in Pellestrina where he was on vacation with his wife and a couple of friends.
Rescue was immediate but unfortunately for the 53-year-old there was nothing to do. An insurer by profession, he lived in Debba and was a director of Assicurazioni Generali, in the Arzignano office, in the province of Vicenza. The man was a great racing enthusiast and always a great sportsman. Alberto, in fact, was an athlete with a great physique, very trained even in very demanding efforts and performances, for this reason the news shocked the whole community.

Tragedy on the beach: he falls ill, collapses and dies

A real tragedy that took place yesterday afternoon along the coast of Fondi, in the province of Latina. Here a man felt ill while he was quietly walking on the shore. A sudden and fatal illness and for the 70-year-old who unfortunately did not make it. The victim was walking quietly on the shore at around 1 pm - in the Tumulito area - when due to a sudden illness he collapsed to the ground.

Tragedy on the beach in Giardini Naxos where a man fell ill this morning while he was in the water and died. Rescue was immediate but there was nothing to be done, the intervention of the 118 was useless. Many people have seen with their own eyes the tragedy of the elderly man from Santa Domenica Vittoria but who has been living in Catania for some time. It is Giuseppe Sidoti, 72 years old in August, brought to the shoreline where, however, he collapsed. An absurd drama: under shock dozens of bathers on the coast of San Pancrazio, in the stretch of free beach, who witnessed the tragedy helplessly. On the spot, the immediate intervention of the rescue was not enough to save the life of the holiday maker. The carabinieri of Taormina and Giardini Naxos also intervened.

Tragedy on the coast of Giugliano, Antonio drowned

Drama on the free beach between Giugliano and Villaggio Coppola. This afternoon, Monday 11 July, a 53-year-old man died after drowning at sea. The victim's name was Antonio P., and he was a resident of Castel Volturno. The cause of death could be attributable to an illness that the 53-year-old allegedly accused while bathing in water but at the moment they are only hypotheses. What is certain is that Antonio after diving into the sea lost consciousness and drowned without being able to reach the shore. The alarm was raised immediately. The medical staff rushed to the scene and, despite the first aid maneuvers, there was nothing for the man to do. The doctors of 118 have nothing to do but note the death. Mondragone, hot killer: Secondigliano woman dead and two boys in hospital

It is a dramatic balance that is recorded on the beaches of the Domitian coast in the first weekend of July. The extreme temperatures have caused the number of calls to 118 to surge. A woman from Secondigliano, in the Scampia area, died of an illness on a beach in Mondragone while two others were saved at the last minute.
According to the Caserta edition, the victim, a 67-year-old woman, FP (her initials), was in Mondragone, last July 2, in via Domiziana, on vacation with her family. Once they arrived on the coast by camper, the group of Neapolitans were spending a moment of relaxation on one of the hottest days of the year when the 67-year-old would have felt ill. Her help was immediately taken, but for her there was nothing to be done. A sudden cardiac arrest, probably caused by the high temperatures of these hours, killed her.

The 51-year-old did not make it: the long resuscitation attempt carried out on Friday afternoon in the pool in Casola where he had spent joyful hours with his daughter and also the helicopter ride to the Ravenna hospital was useless. After struggling between life and death, the man died in the hospital at Santa Maria delle Croci.
Apparently the 51-year-old did not know how to swim sufficiently to float but for this reason he was always careful in the pool and never pushed himself towards the part where the water is higher but remained on the side where you touch. This is why one of the most accredited hypotheses is that of an illness that would have hit him while he was in the water. The man was in fact in the pool with his daughter: at one point the daughter was seen floundering and, once rescued, it was realized that the man was lying unconscious on the bottom of the pool.
The investigations were carried out by the Carabinieri of Casola Valsenio who are trying to clarify the dynamics of the facts.

Young man from Varese dies in Florence: ill during a bath in the river.

Bagno a Ripoli (Florence) - A 30-year-old boy from Varese, Mattia F., died yesterday afternoon, Thursday 7 July, after diving into the Ema river, which flows in Bagno a Ripoli, south of Florence. Those who saw him go down to the river, perhaps to cool off, without going back up again sent help: the divers of the fire brigade of the Florence command intervened to rescue the boy.
Once recovered by the divers, the 30-year-old was entrusted to the 118 doctor, who unfortunately could not help but ascertain his death. Only the autopsy will be able to clarify what happened. An illness is hypothesized, given that there are no signs of violence or trauma on the body.

This is how Saliou Dieng, 36 years old originally from Senegal but resident in Brugherio, died. The man leaves behind his wife Barbara and their three-year-old children Yama and seven-month-old Makthar.
Saliou on 3 July had chosen to spend a beautiful day with his family and some friends in the Adda river, between Medolago and Cornate. It was a sunny day and he decided to dive in. Some swimmers saw him disappear into the river and raised the alarm. Unfortunately that dive was lethal for him, caught by a sudden illness and died during the rush to the hospital in Vimercate. When he arrived in the city hospital, his young heart had already stopped beating.

A 58-year-old man was found dead at home in Castelvetrano, in the Trapani area. A real drama of loneliness since the man, who lived alone after the death of his mother. It is among the saddest tragedies, the tragedy of loneliness. Died alone in the house, her neighbors noticed it only after three weeks, about twenty days. The victim is 55-year-old Helene Kabre, originally from Burkina Faso but an Italian citizen: she lived alone in an apartment among the popular condominiums in Via Martino Franchi in Brescia. It is here that she was found lifeless, lying in her bed: she died of natural causes, found only three weeks after her death.
The alarm was raised Monday afternoon by the neighbors. Apparently it would have been a strong smell that made them suspicious. When the police arrived, no one was able to answer precisely a simple question: "How long have you not seen her?". And so the Fire Brigade broke down the door, the tragic discovery arrived in the bedroom: Helene Kabre lying on the bed, lifeless.
The investigations of the Local Police have ruled out any possible assault, as well as break-ins or attempts at theft and robbery. The house was in order, everything as always: it is not excluded that the 55-year-old went to sleep and she never woke up.
