And it is of little value to know that the area in which she lived is also quite central. Via Petrelli is a side street that connects the streets of Capitano Ritucci and 95th Infantry Regiment, a sort of hinge between the San Lazzaro district and the Mazzini district of Lecce. Someone started to have suspicions when she smelled a very unpleasant odor starting to spread on the landing. So the local police were called, but to gain access to the house, given that the door was firmly closed, the intervention of firefighters and police cars was necessary. And, once inside, what was feared materialized: the woman's body was lying on the floor, in an advanced state of decomposition. Inevitable, given the high temperatures this summer. But if that smell, which represents a real indicator of a possible tragedy, did not begin to be felt earlier in the condominium, it is likely that it was due to the fact that the windows of the apartment were open and therefore the continuous passage of air toned it down. The death, it is presumed, was due to a sudden illness, something that left the woman with no possibility of asking for help via telephone at 118 or even just screaming for help. Thus, that apartment in the center kept that terrible secret hidden in its belly for two months. The police officers notified the public prosecutor on duty. What remains of the poor woman was transferred to the mortuary of the "Vito Fazzi" hospital in Lecce.

After the death of Ubaldo Pomioli, 58 years old, found lifeless at sea in Marcelli di Numana, a young mother suffered a fatal illness last Tuesday evening at home. A probable illness on the part of the driver would be the cause of a fatal accident which occurred yesterday evening, 13 September, at 8.45 pm in via Belfiore in Montagnana. According to the initial evidence collected by the Carabinieri of the Este Company, the driver was traveling at the wheel of a Jeep Compass when he suddenly began to skid and crashed into several road sign poles. Matteo Danesi, a 51-year-old resident of Casale di Scodosia, lost his life. No other vehicle was involved in the tragic accident. He had been married to Leonora Zancanella for about a year. Some witnesses of the autonomous spill immediately alerted the rescuers. The paramedics from Suem 118 and the firefighters arrived in Via Belfiore as well as a couple of crews from the Army. The medics tried for a long time to resuscitate the driver, but in the end they could not help but confirm that he had died. A new tragedy occurred late this morning on land on the outskirts of Senigallia. For reasons that are being ascertained by the Carabinieri, a 69-year-old man died after his tractor overturned. Campobasso - A man from Bonefro but resident in Termoli fell ill on the motorway. The 72-year-old felt suddenly unwell and managed to get onto the emergency lane without causing drastic consequences to the ongoing motorway traffic, thus avoiding accidents. 118 immediately rushed to revive him and the Vasto traffic police tried in vain.
