‘A sudden loss’: Daughter says woman killed in tour boat incident had years of experience; the U.S. Coast Guard and Hawaii County police are investigating after a tour boat crew member died in a boating incident on Monday
April 5, 2022
Honolulu - The U.S. Coast Guard and Hawaii County police are investigating after a tour boat crew member died in a boating incident on Monday.
Family members identified the woman as 54-year-old Theresa Butts of Kailua-Kona. She was a mother of two daughters.
The Coast Guard said Butts was a crew member aboard a boat named the the Uhane Nui O Naia when the incident happened just after 6 p.m. near the Honokohau Small Boat Harbor.
Jeanette Butts said her mother had years of experience on boat tours before she lost her life.
“It’s a sudden loss that should have been avoided,” Butts said. “I just feel it so deeply because the ocean is missing a very passionate advocate. She loved every animal in the ocean — even the jellyfish.”
Authorities have not revealed what happened, but Butts said reports that her mother fell off the boat are not true.
“This was not negligence on her part or her deck hands. This comes down to negligence of ownership and the captain. This should not have happened,” she said.
2 Friends Missing Since Sunday Found Dead In Vehicle Submerged In Stanislaus River Near Ripon
April 6, 2022
Ripon, CA – Two Stockton women were found dead in a car that went into the Stanislaus River near the Spring Creek Country Club, authorities say.
Ripon police say, on Tuesday, an employee of the country club noticed a vehicle in the river near the southeastern part of the golf course.
Alyssa Ros, 23, and Xylona Gama, 22, were at the country club for a wedding on Sunday, but how they ended up in the river is still a mystery. The women were longtime friends from Stockton and had planned to drive back to Modesto where Ros’ father lives after the wedding.
But when they never showed, and their phones went straight to voicemail, Danny Ros says he knew something was wrong.
Both women were reported missing, and on Tuesday, Ros says a disturbing tweet surfaced from a country club employee about the bodies being found.
Exactly how the vehicle ended up in the water is unclear. An investigation is still underway, but Ripon police say there are no suspicious or criminal circumstances.

Deadly Army helicopter crash at Georgia's Fort Stewart not an accident: report
April 5, 2022
A crash involving two Army helicopters that killed a soldier at Georgia's Fort Stewart last month was not an accident and is under criminal investigation, according to a media report.
The Army Times reported a source with knowledge of the investigation into the March 30 crash that killed Capt. James Bellew said the incident "not an accident."
Bellew died during an incident involving two HH60 Black Hawk helicopters at Wright Army Airfield, which is used by the Army and the city of Hinesville, Georgia.
A spokesperson for the Army's 3rd Infantry Division told the Times the service’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the crash.
Bellew, 26, was on MedEvac duty on the night of the incident, Lt. Col. Lindsey Elder told the news outlet.
"Capt. Bellew was the only crewmember involved in the incident and he was the only one injured or killed in the incident," he said. "The initial indication is that all other crewmembers were asleep at the time of the incident."
"At this point, we cannot address the manner of the damage to the two aircraft, timeline of events, or the response from the tower and emergency services, as those details are still considered part of the active investigation," Elder added. "No further information will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation."
Elder said he couldn't address the damage to the two aircraft or the timeline of events surrounding the crash, citing an ongoing investigation.

I am not sure how much longer I can read these. So disheartening.
From my perspective, the one area that is under reported is the sudden rise in cancers. My father in law was in remission for years and is now battling 4 cancers: skin, bone, lymph and stomach. But he keeps getting every jab he can as soon as they are authorized. If he had any toll like receptors slowing his cancer down, he doesn’t now.
I not sure these will ever get connected in the public’s mind.
Yeah this seems to be escalating
Also the Blackhawk doing medevac is interesting. I live in Georgia and wondered what they all are doing. The Blackhawk flights are almost constant.
