Three schoolchildren have died in Gauteng since Thursday in separate incidents after showing symptoms of ill-health, the Gauteng education department confirmed on Saturday An eight-year-old pupil from a special needs school in Thembisa died on Friday, a week after reportedly falling unconscious while travelling in a school bus. A grade 10 pupil from Soweto also died on Friday while travelling home on a bus. “According to information at our disposal, learners notified the transport driver of a learner who was vomiting and foaming from the mouth,” the department said “The driver then went off his drop-off route course to rush the learner to a nearby clinic. Unfortunately, the child was declared dead on arrival." On Thursday, another grade 10 pupil died after collapsing at Buhlebuzile Secondary School in Thokoza. Police are still investigating the incident. Gauteng education MEC Matome Chiloane said the department would take “decisive action” depending on the outcome of investigations into the incidents.

Dr. Geoff Greenfield passed away in Jerusalem on July 30 after a heroic struggle with lymphoma. He was a beloved and compassionate pediatrician to over three generations of families. He had an insatiable sense of wonder and fascination with the workings of the universe, studying quantum physics in his scarce spare time. Geoff was also a fabulous pianist and flutist, playing many concerts with his Har Nof Chamber Music Society, which sponsored numerous newly-arrived emigrant musicians. The outdoors was his playground, biking to work for 40 years, backpacking in the Sierras, hiking in Death Valley, and even trekking in Nepal. Erudite and well-read, he had a ten-year Facetime bookclub with his sister, which was half scholarly and half exuberant hilarity.

The heart attacks are on a different scale...The demise of 3 students within 2days should spark serious investigation but we know it will lead to nothing...
How come we were so quick to jab everyone with an experimental injection in a bid to stop deaths or serious illness but MSN and government fail to report or even show the slightest concern why so many are dying just 1yr later...?
There seem to be many sudden heart attacks and children dying. The numbers are maybe increasing at a steady rate. So sad.
