Actor Bruce MacVittie has passed away.
In a tribute published by The New York Times, MacVettie's wife Carol Ochs said the "Sopranos" actor died on May 7 in a Manhattan hospital, but the cause of death had not yet been determined.
A representative for MacVittie did not respond to Fox News Digital's immediate request for comment.

Fred Ward, acclaimed film and television actor, has died at 79

Acclaimed actor Fred Ward, best known for his roles in films like "The Right Stuff," "Tremors" and "Escape From Alcatraz," died Sunday at age 79, his publicist confirmed to CBS News. Ward's cause of death was not released.
Before Ward's film career began in the early 1970s, he held several other titles, according to a biography from his publicist: He served three years in the U.S. Air Force, and also worked as a short-order cook, a boxer and a lumberjack in Alaska.
Once his acting career began, he became known for the versatility of his roles, the biography said, whether as a cop or an author of erotic stories in "Henry & June" — the world's first NC-17 movie. His first major role came in the 1979 Clint Eastwood film "Escape from Alcatraz;" soon after, he played an accidental time traveler in the 1982 film "Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann."

Daniel Belardinelli, one-half of Duomo — the composer duo whose classical interpretations of pop songs soundtracked Netflix’s Bridgerton — has died at age 49.
The classical musician unexpectedly died last month on April 26. Per this obituary, he is survived by his wife, Alejandra “Yaya” Sandi and sons Alex and Matteo Belardinelli, parents Carlo and Mina Belardinelli, brother Giancarlo and dog Toto.
With Duomo, Belardinelli and partner Axel Tenner reimagined pop songs through a classical perspective, and created stunning covers of Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next,” Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” and a string version of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” that appeared in season 1 of Netflix’s Bridgerton. The duo’s work later appeared on the Bridgerton Covers From The Netflix Original Series EP, which hit No. 1 on the Jan. 16, 2021-dated Classical Albums chart, according to Luminate.

Reportedly, Middleton was the one who helped build a good relationship between the former president and the convicted sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, to whom he gave access to the presidential residence seven times out of at least 17 times he came there.

Hall of Fame center Bob Lanier, a former No. 1 overall pick who played 14 seasons with the Pistons (1970-1980) and Bucks (1980-84), died at the age of 73 following a "short illness," the NBA announced on Tuesday.
League commissioner Adam Silver released a statement after Lanier's death, declaring that he was "among the most talented centers in the history of the NBA." The top pick in the 1970 NBA Draft out of St. Bonaventure, Lanier earned eight All-Star selections during his career and won the 1974 All-Star Game MVP award. He averaged at least 21 points and 11 rebounds per game from 1971 to 78 with the Pistons, finishing with career averages of 20.1 points and 10.1 rebounds.

Taelin Webb, a former Southern Utah University football cornerback, has died unexpectedly. Webb was 26 years old at the time of his death. Originally from Fresno, Calif., Webb came to Utah to play football. He majored in communications throughout his time at SUU, according to a SUU website.
Webb was a football player for the Thunderbirds from 2016 to 2018. He appeared in ten games for the Thunderbirds in 2018, totaling 36 tackles and recording three tackles for seven yards.
Webb's athletic profile states that he enjoyed the movie Hercules, that his favorite food was seafood, that his favorite pro-athlete was Dwayne Wade, and that his favorite artist was Lil Wayne.

Robbinsville HS Grad, Basketball MVP Dies Suddenly, 22

Robbinsville (NJ) High School graduate and basketball MVP Dominic Cristopher Riggs died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 4. He was 22.
Dominic was known for his athletic skills, particularly in basketball. He played CYO Basketball for St. Raphael’s Church and earned the title of All Star MVP, his memorial says. Dominic also played AAU basketball and was a big fan of the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Coach Morris dedicated his life to the kids of The City of Huntsville with his countless hours of volunteer work. He touched so many lives as a player, coach and mentor. He was one of the youngest Head Baseball Coaches for Huntsville City Schools for many years. He coached at both Butler and Columbia High Schools along with coaching the East-West All Star team for the Shriners. He was also the manager of the American Legion Post 237 baseball team for many years. Josh was employed by Huntsville City Schools for 20 years where he was the Campus Security Supervisor. Josh never met a stranger; he loved his family, friends, sports and his dogs.

Kansas City, Mo. — Former William Jewell College men's basketball coach Larry Holley, whose 919 total career wins ranks 10th all-time among men's college basketball coaches, died Thursday. His daughter, Lindsey, announced Holley's death Thursday night in a post on social media:
"It is with a broken heart that I share that our extraordinary dad, Larry Holley, passed away unexpectedly this afternoon. We are all in shock and I know everyone who loved him will be too," the post read. "If you knew our dad, then you know what a huge loss this is. He was a special man to so many of us — a coach, teacher, mentor, husband, father, grandfather, cousin and friend. He loved his life and the people in it so much."
Holley, 76, retired from Jewell in 2019 after 40 seasons as the Cardinals' head coach, according to information on the school's website.

Rapper Lil Keed has died at the age of 24, his brother has confirmed. The Atlanta rising star, whose real name is Raqhid Render, leaves behind daughter Naychur.
His brother wrote: "Can’t believe I seened u die today bro I did all my cries I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama Daddy Our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy."
On last album Trapped on Cleveland 3 in 2020 he collaborated with Kylie Jenner's boyfriend Travis Scott, Young Thug and Chris Brown.
He briefly worked at Subway and McDonald's during his teenage years before breaking into the music industry.

Randy Weaver, the white supremacist who became a hero of the modern militia movement after an 11-day standoff with federal agents at Ruby Ridge, has died.
The 74-year-old died Wednesday, according to a Facebook post from Weaver’s daughter, Sara Weaver.
Sara Weaver, who lives in Marion, Montana, didn’t share details about her father’s death and couldn’t be reached for comment. The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, which doubles as the coroner’s office, said it had no information on Weaver. Logan Health Medical Center, the region’s largest hospital, did not answer questions about whether he was a patient.

Depew, N.Y. — The Depew Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its own after a longtime member of the department passed away suddenly. The department wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday that Lieutenant Jeff Gorski had died.
According to police, Gorski had been with the department for 25 years, swearing in on February 1, 1997. The department says he served in various positions during his career including Patrolman, Rangemaster, Firearms Instructor, Patrol Supervisor and Traffic Safety Coordinator.

Off-duty Village of Chester officer dies unexpectedly

The Village of Chester, NY, Police Department is mourning one of its own who unexpectedly died off duty from natural causes. Officer John Grzywaczewski, 44, died at home Monday, according to Police Chief Timothy McGuire. The law enforcement veteran had been with the department for 16 years and with New York State Police for two years before that.
McGuire issued a statement to News 12 Thursday saying, "This is a very difficult time for my department. The show of support from the Law Enforcement community, the Chester community and everyone that has been touched by Officer John 'G13' Grzywaczewski has been amazing."

Well-known and long-time resident of the Santa Clarita Valley, CA, Assigned Judge Alan Rosenfield died Wednesday morning following a sudden medical emergency. He was 70 years old.
When speaking with The Signal on Friday, those who knew him best described Rosenfield, who lived in the community for more than 40 years and served on the Los Angeles County Superior Court for 17 years, as a brilliant, loyal and kind person dedicated to his friends, family and community service.
“He was just such a caring person and a great friend,” said Santa Clarita Mayor Laurene Weste on Friday. “I can’t think of anybody that I have enjoyed more, learned more from, respected more. And his ethics were just beyond compare.”
Santa Clarita attorney Hunt Braly, who knew Rosenfield as far back as the 1980s, said that, even in the days leading up to his death, Rosenfield was still actively serving his community in a courtroom.

Family questions cause of man's death in Missouri jail

Excelsior Springs, Mo. — The family of a northwest Missouri man who died in a municipal jail is raising questions about his sudden death.
Benjamin Chase, 21, of Excelsior Springs, died Sunday in the city jail after his arrest on Saturday on a warrant involving weapons violations, police said. Officers used a stun gun on Chase during a brief chase before he was arrested, Excelsior Springs Police Chief Gregory Dull told The Kansas City Star.
Chase reportedly declined to go to a hospital for a medical evaluation and was taken to the jail. He was found unresponsive in his cell Sunday afternoon during a routine check and pronounced dead shortly after he was found. Dull said Chase had eaten lunch earlier in the day and appeared fine hours earlier.
An attorney representing Chase's family, Matthew Merryman, said his relatives want to know the cause of death and more about the use of force before his arrest.
Pima County inmate dies in jail

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Authorities are investigating after an inmate died in the Pima County jail on Friday, May 13.
According to a news release from Pima County sheriff’s deputies, a corrections officer found the inmate unresponsive in his cell around 5:30 a.m. and called for help.
Staff immediately went into the cell and tried to resuscitate the inmate until fire crews arrived.
Once fire crews got there, 42-year-old Alejandro Romo as pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined Romo had no signs of trauma and there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Romo had previously been charged with third-degree burglary and vehicle theft.
According to court documents, he had been scheduled to make an appearance in court Thursday morning.

Cindy Locklear died May 11, her loved ones wrote in her obituary. A native of Marlborough, the 62-year-old previously worked at the Coleman House and Beaumont Nursing Home in Northborough.
“Cindy loved going to the gym, taking walks with her dog, tirelessly working as a nurse and caring for people,” her loved ones wrote. “She was sweet, always helping others and lived her life to make a difference in the lives of so many.”
Locklear’s daughter, Kandi Oliveira, told The Boston Globe her mother volunteered to work in the coronavirus unit.
