Egyptian man dies of excitement after Messi wins World Cup

An Egyptian young man died due to a severe heart attack caused by excitement after Argentine national team led by legend Messi won the World Cup final versus France. Mustafa Abdel’al Abdelwahhab, 26, lawyer, was watching the match with his friends at a café downtown. After end of the match, Mustafa reportedly overjoyed with the winning of Argentina and that his favorite star Lionel Messi had won the World Cup. Suddenly, he had a severe pain in the chest due to a heart attack and he was immediately transferred to Agouza Hospital, where he was declared dead, according to Mustafa’s friends.

Ibadan - Tobi Owomoyela Nifemi, also known as Peteru Comedy, a comedian from Ibadan, passed away, sending the entertainment industry into grief. NPFL player, Ebuka Odenigbo is dead

Barely 48 hours after the death of Ex Enyimba International striker, Chinedu Udechukwu [above], another promising player in the Nigeria Professional football league (NPFL), Ebuka Odenigbo is dead. According to reports, Ebuka died on the night of Friday after complaining of fever. While he was reportedly rushed to the hospital, the former University of Agriculture Markudi died on the way to the hospital. David Ebuka Odenigbo won the Higher Institutional Football League (HiFL) in 2019 with University Of Agriculture, Makurdi were he was named the Most Valuable Player and was also part of the team that won Gold medal in football at the NUGA games a year earlier.

Durban - A source close to Mampintsha’s wife Babes Wodumo confirmed to Sunday World that the Big Nuz member Mandla Maphumulo died on Saturday, 24 December after suffering a minor stroke this week. On Thursday Afrotainment released a statement confirming he was hospitalised and he was admitted at the Durdoc Hospital in Durban. Maphumulo, a producer and musician founded the Big Nuz band made up of Mzi ‘Danger’ Tshomela and the late Sbusiso ‘R Mashesha’ Khoma.

Burdenko at the age of 69. Condolences in connection with the death of Maslov were expressed by the former head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin. In his Telegram channel, he recalled that for three and a half years he worked with Maslov in Brussels, where he served as Russia's chief military representative to NATO since the summer of 2008. Russia’s Admiralty Shipyards has announced the “sudden” death of its director general, Alexander Buzakov, a day after he presided over the floating-out of a fourth generation Lada-class submarine. The Russian defense executive, who has been the head of Admiralty Shipyards for 11 years, died at the age of 66 (the average life expectancy for Russian men). United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), the parent company of Admiralty Shipyards, announced his sudden death but did not reveal the cause. His death was described as “untimely and tragic," with the company vowing to build on his legacy in advancing Russia’s naval defense capabilities. “For 11 years, under the leadership of Buzakov, the shipyards have been successful in fulfilling production programs and obtaining new contracts for the construction of ships. The main achievement of Admiralty Shipyards under the leadership of Buzakov was the preservation and strengthening of positions in the market of modern non-nuclear submarines, surface ships and deep-sea equipment,” said the statement. The sudden death occurred a day after Buzakov presided over the launch of Velikie Luki, part of the new Lada-class submarines that he said formed the future not only for Admiralty Shipyards but for the Russian Navy due to their advance systems in automation, hull, maneuverability and compactness.
