Ghana's dancehall community is mourning the sudden death of one of its brightest stars, Rudebwoy Ranking. The reggae artiste, real name Mustapha Rahman, passed away in the early hours of Monday, April 24, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra. According reports gathered by this portal, Rudebwoy Ranking was rushed to the facility for treatment over an undisclosed illness but did not survive. The cause of his tragic death remains unknown, plunging fans into deep shock and grief. Industry players and fans have also taken to social media to mourn the loss of the iconic dancehall musician, highlighting his immense talent, charisma and the unforgettable legacy he left behind. He was 33.

A student of the Yobe State University, Damaturu, Maryam Lawan Goroma, Thursday, slumped and died shortly after writing her examination. Before her death, she was said to be healthy and hearty. A classmate of the deceased, Bukar Maisandari, disclosed this on his Facebook account. He added that the deceased suddenly collapsed and was confirmed dead shortly.

The late surgeon became the first Plastic surgeon in Northern Nigeria and commenced practice as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Dala Kano State. The Medical and Dental Consultant Association, Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja and Medical Women Association of Nigeria, (MWAN) Kogi State Chapter held a procession and testimonial in honour of the late surgical expert. Speaking at the event, the Chief Medical Director, of Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja Dr Olatunde Alabi described Dr Halima Grace Rabeh David as a virtuous Woman whose sudden demise has thrown the surgical world into sorrow.
