I was very naive at the start of this ongoing tragedy that justice would come sooner … however now it’s clear the old saying is true, “They’ll forgive you for being wrong but never for being right”
"It says right here in the contract you signed. The wedding deposit shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Perhaps the bride could find another eligible bachelor who would want to marry her"?
sad isn't it? several young couples where one dies at the wedding. this here in Egypt, last week one in Italy, and shortly before, a young groom dead by lightning in Florida while they are posing for pictures. Must kinda turn the surviving one from marrying again.
"Venue": A fancy word for "place" that force-multiplies the cost. Wife and I were married (many years ago) in a church and had dinner and dance at a banquet hall. Nice place. Reasonably priced. Didn't charge extra for tables, chairs, and napkins...
And excellent re your wedding. My wife and I did something similar. For example, we got flowers very inexpensively that morning from a neighborhood Chinese grocery store.
Voddie’s death is absolutely tragic. 💔 An incredible pastor, true to God’s Word (which is becoming increasingly rare!), a husband and father to 9 children. What a terrible loss. I’m grateful he’s in the presence of Christ but he will be greatly missed here.
So few left…. that truly preach… Gods word….with integrity!
A few years back…while in Africa…he was waiting to get home… to have extensive medical intervention….to treat his deadly heart condition!
I believe they took good care of him then…. and gave him a good recovery prognosis!
My Pastor said… if he had to travel…. he’d take the jibby jab….I warned him not to! Don’t know if he took my advise or not! Many in our congregation have died!
Actually I’m afraid he did. He said something to the effect that “though the vaccine looks promising, we put our ultimate hope in Christ.” This was very early before he was diagnosed with heart failure in 2021. 💔

Astonishingly long list, many young and beautiful but all taken too soon. I pray for all of them.
Before this is over….if it ever is…I suspect we will lose close to 50 to 60 percent of the worlds population! Exactly what they hoped for!

I’m so sorry. We have lost many friends and work associates. So far, our little church hasn’t lost anyone, but many health conditions. 😢🙏
