A young man in his twenties lost his life 'spontaneously' when he was walking on the streets of the Kusamil subdivision in Cancun. The man fainted on a stool, never to wake up. The events occurred around 9:00 in the morning of this September 11, when neighbors found the subject apparently lifeless on the public road. Upon suspicion of the death of the young man, witnesses called the emergency number 911, requesting an ambulance for the now deceased. The medical agents arrived at the scene only to confirm that the boy between about 20 and 25 years old had already died. So far, the causes of death are unknown, as well as the identity of the male; it transcends that he died of natural causes.

Domonic Strachan, the only child of People’s National Party (PNP) legal advisor Aloun N'dombet Assamba, has died. OBSERVER ONLINE understands that Strachan suffered a heart attack early Saturday morning in Moneague, St Ann. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Strachan was the only child of N’dombet-Assamba, who has served as Jamaica's High Commissioner to London, as a Cabinet Minister, Member of Parliament, and as a member of the Senate. There have been an outpouring of tributes to Strachan and messages of condolences to N’dombet-Assamba on social media.

Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA) President Leighton Johnson is urging teachers and school administrators to pay close attention to their physical health and not to take any underlying medical conditions for granted. This follows the recent passing of Tisha Patrick-Rowe [above], principal of the St Elizabeth-based Fullerswood Primary School. Johnson made the appeal in an interview on Friday, while offering condolences to the family and colleagues of the late principal, who died on Wednesday. “I also want to use this opportunity to make an appeal to all our colleagues, that it is very important for them to take care of their physical and mental health. We encourage them not to take any medical condition for granted, and they must get the necessary and proper checks to identify whatever underlying conditions there may be lurking,” Johnson added. Donnette Witter, the principal of the St Andrew-based Jacks Hill Primary School, died suddenly on August 31, four days before the start of the school year.
