Edilberto Regalado, a tenor originally from Juchitán Zaragoza, Oaxaca, died suddenly of a heart attack while performing a song during the celebration Mass of San José, in his homeland, in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec region. The artist of Zapotec origin, in his youth emigrated to Mexico City to study singing at the National Conservatory of Music, later applied to enter the Opera House in Zurich, Switzerland. During his prolific professional career he collaborated for prominent German opera houses, including Schwerin, Koblenz, and Rudolstadt. Until 2005 he was principal tenor at the Opera House in Eisenach, Germany, where he lived with his wife and daughter.

Raúl's loved ones asked for help to the 911 emergency number, which mobilized the Municipal Civil Protection rescuers of Lázaro Cárdenas, who applied CPR maneuvers to him, but the patient did not react and confirmed his death.

At just 35 years old, the most successful Cuban rower of all time and a great rival and friend of the Czech star Ondřej Synek, Ángel Fournier, has died. The silver medalist from the World Championships in 2013 and 2017, where Synek was his only conqueror, succumbed to a heart attack. His death on Thursday was announced by the International Rowing Federation on its website. A native of Guantánamo, Fournier competed in three Olympic Games. The Sousa musician Luciano Lúcio Soares, 46 years old, better known as Luciano Coloral, died at the Regional Hospital of Sousa on Friday night (10th) after suffering a fulminant heart attack. According to the family, Luciano was unwell on Tuesday, at his workplace and was rescued by the mobile emergency service (SAMU), feeling severe pain in the belly. In the Emergency Care Unit (UPA), he performed several tests and found inflammation in the pancreas, and was transferred to the Regional Hospital of Sousa, shortly thereafter. The clinical picture worsened and evolved to the point of compromising the kidneys. With a critical state of health, Luciano's kidneys stopped working, and he had to undergo hemodialysis. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, but did not resist and died around 23h, this Friday.
