Shane Yellowbird, a 42-year-old country singer, died unexpectedly, shocking his family

Shane Yellowbird, a 42-year-old country singer, passed away. According to family members, the Canadian artist died suddenly on Monday in Calgary.
Yellowbird had epilepsy, but it is unknown what caused his death.
Our brother was a gifted artist who loved his children, music, and sports, according to his family, who spoke to the CBC.
“We have all been deeply affected by the tragedy, and we respectfully request that this time be treated with respect and privacy as we grieve the loss of a loved one.”
When she found out about Yellowbird’s death, singer Crystal Shawanda was stunned.
She told CBC: “This kind of came out of nowhere.”
“He opened doors,” Shawanda said, describing Yellowbird as a “trailblazer.”
Yellowbird’s track Pickup Truck was his most well-known vehicle. In 2007, it was his first song to reach the top of the Canadian Country singles chart.

Mary Cronin, 23, of New Maryland, was looking forward to an eight-month work term for McElhanney in B.C. after doing land surveying for the engineering company as a summer student.
The popular university soccer player, coach and dean's list student was on the cusp of a remarkable career in geodesy and geomatic engineering, qualified to map the ocean floor, create 3D models or develop navigation systems.
She was scheduled to fly to Vancouver on Monday for an eight-month work term with the same engineering consulting firm her older brother works for. She was going to live with him and his fiancée, her best friend from university.
She had a "huge, bright future ahead of her. Companies bidding" for her, said her father, Arthur Cronin.
"She could do anything she wanted to do. She was just phenomenal," her mother, Michele Cronin, said.
But Mary died suddenly Friday at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton.
A preliminary autopsy shows she died of a pulmonary embolism.
There was nothing anyone could do, her mother says.
"They don't know how long the pulmonary embolism was there. They don't know what caused it."
Mary tested positive for COVID-19 after her death, but it's unclear if it was a factor, her parents say. She didn't have COVID symptoms.

SYDNEY, N.S. — When she was younger, Bailee Clyke would tell her mother she was never going to have children.
Her mother, Jackie Clyke, told her that was fine, that it was her choice.
“And then she had Amiyah (her firstborn), and she said, ‘Now, that’s it,’” said Jackie.
Jackie remembers those days with a laugh now, knowing how Bailee’s life in her young adult years revolved around her four children.
Less than two years after having Amiyah, who is now seven, Bailee was pregnant with her second daughter, Rozel. Her third, Zunairah, followed shortly after. And finally her son Kaishawn, the youngest.
“Her life was her kids,” said Jackie. “Her kids. Whatever she did, whatever she was thinking about... it was always (about) the kids.”
Jackie, with the help of family friends, will now be in charge of ensuring the memory of her daughter stays alive after the 26-year-old single mother of four died suddenly early Friday morning.

Hamilton police say a crash at John C. Munro Airport on the weekend happened when a Cargojet van driver, shuttling pilots on the tarmac, suffered a major cardiac episode and crashed into a pond of de-icing liquid.
The 52-year-old driver later died in hospital from the heart attack and the four pilots suffered minor injuries, said Det. Const. Wes Wilson of the collision reconstruction unit.

A 74-year-old man is dead following a collision near Burlington Saturday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single-vehicle collision at the Highway 403 westbound ramp to Highway 6 South at around 11 a.m.
The vehicle appears to have rolled over into a ditch.
A 74-year-old man from Brantford was found deceased at the scene, police said.
Investigators are looking into the possibility of a medical episode that caused the crash.

Northumberland County lowers flags to mark loss of long-time employee Shawn Dingman

Flags at all county facilities are at half-mast to recognize the passing of long-time employee Shawn Dingman.
Dingman died suddenly on April 23. He was 51. Dingman was an employee of Northumberland County for nearly 20 years.
“As an Operator 2 with our roads team, Shawn was instrumental in maintaining the health and utility of the county road network,” Northumberland County officials said. “He was a highly-respected colleague and friend, and he will be missed. County council and staff extend our sincerest condolences to the Dingman family, and to all those mourning this loss.”

The wrestling star had put on a thrilling performance for fans at the Arena Puebla in Mexico on Monday prior to his demise just hours after he performed in a show.
Multiple sources claim the wrestler died of a heart attack. Meanwhile, his cause of death has not been confirmed.

A family vacation turns into a tragedy. A foreign tourist died suddenly during a tour aboard a catamaran, between Cancun and Isla Mujeres.
First reports detail that the tourist of American origin began to feel bad when they were already in the sea. The tourists notified the captain of the cataran, who quickly acted and headed the ship to return to port so that they could help the woman. Unfortunately, during the journey back to the dock, the foreign tourist passed away.
When the catamaran docked, the Red Cross paramedics were waiting for him, who could do nothing for the woman, who apparently died of cardiac arrest.

Cusco: tourist died suddenly when visiting Humantay lagoon

A 73-year-old woman died while visiting the Humantay lagoon, a tourist destination located in the district of Molletapa, in the province of Anta. The visitor suffered a decompensation and, a few seconds later, she died.
According to the VII Police Macro Region of Cusco, the woman's death occurred last Wednesday at an average of 2:40 pm The visitor identified as Dina Espinoza died when she was out for a walk in the company of her 44-year-old son Milton Gambo.
The family member said thathis mother unexpectedly suffered a downfall and subsequently collapsed on the road. Given this, police personnel found the woman's body on the ground and in a dorsal ulna position. Next to her was her son.
The strange case was reported to the First Provincial Criminal Prosecutor's Office of Anta, who ordered the removal of the body. Later, he was taken to the central morgue of the city of Cusco.

Jose Luis Cortes Cause of Death Heartbreaking: Timba Pioneer Dead at 70

Jose Luis Cortes, a Cuban bandleader and pioneer of the Timba genre, has died. He was 70.
The Instituto Cubano de la Musica's Facebook page first confirmed the news about Cortes tragic passing, saying that he died on April 18 in Havana.
"Born in the neighborhood of El Condado, in the city of Santa Clara, he graduated from the flute specialty at the National School of Art and stood out, from a very young age, for his virtuosity as an instrumentalist and orchestrator and his leadership capacity among the union colleagues," the organization's statement, translated from Spanish (via PEOPLE), said.
The same post confirmed Jose Luis Cortes' cause of death, saying that he passed away after suddenly suffering from a hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accident.
In 1988, Cortes gave birth to the Cuban dance genre of Timba after NG La Banda was formed. In an interview with The Miami Herald in 1988, the El Tosco spoke up about creating the genre and how it helps people make more music.
"The intellectuals say that timba is crap. But this is a racist concept. Cuban popular music has always been the music of the people, of the poor barrios, where there are very few whites. This is the music that comes from below, that makes people want to dance. But just because people dance to it doesn't mean it's not as serious as any other serious music," he told the news outlet.
Cortes went on to proclaim that timba ultimately became the sound of Cuba soon after it was coined.
The Cuban government has developed its own COVID “vaccine.”

Family and friends gathered at Centerville Park on Tuesday to pay their respects to dedicated valley boys member, “Heavy D” Bethel. Always the life of the party, heavy died suddenly while carrying out his duties at the defence force.
Captain Pinder, deputy commander of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force was at the memorial and brought condolences on behalf of the commodore of the force.
Chairman of the Valley Boys, Brian Adderley, not only paid tribute to Heavy but commended all those first responders who worked tirelessly through the pandemic and all those Valley Boys who received their eternal wings before Heavy.
