The Cobán Half Marathon that took place this Sunday through the main streets of the town, ended with a regrettable news, when the death of a person was confirmed. This is Mr. Eri Reyes Laparra, 53 years old, who served as president of CSD Cobán Imperial, a member of the National League. As it became known, Eri Reyes was participating in the Cobán Half Marathon this Sunday and during the course he fainted, so he was attended by the relief bodies, however, he could no longer be saved.

Man dies while walking in Monclova

Neighbors of the area did not manage to identify the man at first; however, hours later they were relatives who recognized Facundo Hernández, 66 years old. According to reports, the man was walking in front of a miscellany shop, when he suddenly fell face down to the ground and was lying down. Residents of the area notified the Mexican Red Cross and Public Security. Upon arriving at the scene, paramedics found the person lifeless. The State Attorney General's Office was notified of the death, so the agency sent detectives from the Criminal Investigation Agency, as well as Expert Services personnel to collect evidence. Then they removed the body of the deceased and transferred it to the forensic room for the necropsy. It should be noted that the body showed no visible signs of violence.

Alarm and shock caused the death of a man who was riding his bicycle through the streets of the Mirador neighborhood, during the morning of this Sunday, May 28, when he fell down in full view of the people who inhabit and frequent the area. It was reported that several people observed a man, apparently elderly, who was riding his bicycle in the Mirador neighborhood. At one point, he stopped pedaling and keeled over, which alarmed the witnesses. When trying to help him, they noticed that he seemed to have lost his life in a sudden way, so they requested help from the emergency forces. Unfortunately, they confirmed the loss of life. Apparently, the cause of death was due to a natural cause, as the older adult had presented some pathological complication previously.

The LMB suspended a game last Friday night due to an accident, and not on the pitch or in the stands themselves, but in the bathrooms of the stadium, where a fan died. During the trip she fainted again several times. They requested medical attention and paramedics from the Red Cross came to try to give her the first attention; however, she had already died.

A man lost his life in the middle of Avenue 3 of the Plutarco Elías Calles neighborhood from a sudden heart attack. Neighbors came out of their houses were alarmed to see a man lying in the middle of a public road so they immediately asked for the intervention of the authorities and the emergency services. Upon arrival, the authorities realized that the victim no longer had vital signs, so they cordoned off the area and informed the Public Prosecutor's Office so that Criminal Experts and officers from the Investigation Division would carry out the due diligence work.

Man dies of a possible heart attack on board his car

On the afternoon of this Saturday, May 27, the Anáhuac sectional police was alerted and mobilized to the Bustillos ejido due to the death of a man from a possible heart attack on board his vehicle. The officers upon arrival interviewed the brother of the deceased man, he commented that moments before he found his brother unconscious on board his vehicle. After the situation, the presence of Red Cross paramedics was requested, who attested to the unfortunate man's death. Likewise, at the scene it was indicated that the deceased had the name Arnulfo T.O. in life and was 55 years old, that possibly the cause of death was an acute myocardial infarction, however, a legal necropsy will be able to determine the reasons for the death.

According to the State Security Agency, an emergency call was made about an unconscious subject at the La Bellota ecotourism center. A man who was known as "El Toro", lost his life due to a probable cardiac arrest and his body was left sitting on the corner of Muzquiz Street and Revolution Boulevard, inside the Alianza neighborhood of Torreón. Apparently he was eating a loaf of bread when his death occurred. According to police sources, around 00:30 hours the report was received to the 911 Emergency System. Upon arrival, they realized that the man no longer had vital signs, so the presence of personnel from the Public Prosecutor's Office Agency was necessary to initiate the relevant investigations, although due to the fact that no traces of violence were found on him, it was determined that his death occurred due to a probable cardiac arrest.

The working day of the workers of a popular pizzeria in Coahuila, was interrupted due to the sudden death of one of the delivery drivers. The events occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the branch located on Avenida Leandro Valle, in the aforementioned city, where the 23-year-old had been working as a delivery driver for a week. The deceased today was identified as Jonathan 'N', who was performing his duties when suddenly he collapsed in front of the pizzeria counter, alarming all his colleagues, who requested the presence of the rescue corps. Paramedics from the Red Cross, Public Security Corps and agents of the State Attorney General's Office met at the scene to carry out the corresponding works. Around 18:00 hours, someone reported to the 911 emergency center that a person was fainting in the pedestrian crossing of 3rd Street West between 4th and 2nd Avenue North. Paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross on board unit 189 came to the scene and when they provided first aid, they declared that the body was lifeless. The deceased today was wearing a red T-shirt and denim pants. About the events, it was learned that the person fell to the ground, so he presumably died of a cardiac arrest.

The world of regional music is in mourning, after the death of the musician "El As de Oro" ["Golden Ace"] in a road accident. The singer, when he had no performances, worked as a taxi driver and was well known throughout the region. The authorities indicated that he apparently suffered a heart attack, before hitting his car against a perimeter fence. The deceased was identified as César Cruz Amaro, 60 years old, better known as the "El As de Oro", who had his address in this town. Like most artists, the events do not leave enough to support his family, so, during the week he worked as a taxi driver. According to witnesses, it was said that the taxi was moving at low speed and that it suddenly hit a wall. They explained that after the impact, the sedan car, advanced about five meters until the unit stopped. Due to the fact that the impact was not strong and that the taxi driver was wearing a seat belt, the rescuers assume that the driver suffered a heart attack that - subject to the autopsy - is the cause of death.

Los Van Van bassist dies after heart attack during concert in New York

Juan Carlos Formell, bassist of the Cuban group Los Van Van, died after suffering a heart attack. The musician had just finished a concert in New York. The Cuban musician died at the age of 59, minutes after having played at a concert; it is known that during the event Formell felt unwell, so he had to leave the stage. The moment the bassist left the performance was recorded. Formell felt unwell during a performance at the Lehman Center in The Bronx, and for this reason the show had to be stopped and the musician was replaced with another bassist in order to continue. It was reported that, although everything was tried to help him, unfortunately the Cuban musician died minutes later. For this reason, the group issued a message on its Facebook account. "Dear fans. Harsh news for Argentine soccer: Javier Yacuzzi died of a virus. The former player was 43 years old. Yacuzzi was in Mexico, as Double Yellow learned. He worked as Mauro Gerk's assistant at the Querétaro club of the Liga MX. There he contracted a virus and, because of it, he died. 'Yacu', born in San Nicolás, made his promotion debut in Platense. Then, he went through Tigre and Arsenal, where he won the 2007 Copa Sudamericana and the Suruga Bank in 2008. Then, he went to Tijuana in Mexico. In 2012 he returned to Argentina and played for clubs like Huracán, Rosario Central and Defensa y Justicia. He finished his career in 2018 at Club Somisa in his hometown.

Thanks Mark for posting these tragic deaths. What worries me now is when more and more infants, children, and adolescents start dying at ever higher numbers. And the ultimate question, how many more have to die before these shots are stopped?
