Twenty-two people with heart attack and heart failure have been admitted to the cardiology center, according to the Indian website jagran.com. The outpatient department examined 913 patients and 13 people were admitted to the emergency department after suffering a stroke. The Indian site reported: “Twenty-two patients suffering from heart attack and heart failure were admitted to the emergency department of the Heart Disease Institute. Mahavir Sharan Gupta, 75, a resident of Kuthund in Jalaun district, died while doing electrocardiograph (ECG) at the Heart Disease Institute. He had been sweating and had pain in his chest since morning. Relatives took him to the Heart Disease Institute together with the doctor, but he died during the ECG even before treatment began. Similarly, Sarojini Devi, 59, a resident of Ghatampur and Hariom, 55, from the same area, died in hospital at the start of the investigation. 75-year-old Sitara Devi from the Chakeri area also passed out in the morning complaining of a severe headache. Her relatives first took her to Kanshiram hospital, from there, seeing her condition, they took her to Kanpur LLR hospital, but she died on the way. The hospital doctors were only able to declare death." According to physician Dr. Neeraj Kumar, 70 percent of patients admitted on Tuesday are being treated for chest pain due to "cold temperature". Karnataka - An actor died while acting in a play in Karnataka. The incident is said to have happened on Friday. A 58-year-old Yakshagan artist died while performing on a stage in Karnataka's Katel town on Friday. A video of the artist falling during the performance has gone viral on social media. In the viral video, the actor can be seen playing the role of Shishupal in the play. During the play he suddenly falls off the stage. The play was immediately called off after this and he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. The Yakshagana artist was identified as Guruvappa Bayaru, who had been doing yakshagana for the past three decades.

Akash's relatives have submitted a memorandum to the district collector demanding that the government take steps to bring back his body to Tamil Nadu. He had gone to Nepal on December 21 to play volleyball. Akash's team won in the first round. Following this, he went to the playground to take rest. Akash then vomited blood in the rest room and fell unconscious. Seeing this, fellow athletes reportedly took him to the hospital. Pollachi, Coimbatore - Sakthi Sabaharisan (15) was studying in Class 10 at a government school in Ramanathapuram. Sakthi Sabaharesan, who was at home on the day of the incident, consumed the pill saying he had a headache. At night he suddenly vomited and fainted. Seeing this, his parents immediately rushed Sabaharisan to a private hospital in the area. The doctors who examined him there said his health condition is very critical. Afzalgarh - A person riding a bicycle suddenly fell unconscious as soon as he parked the bicycle near the National Highway village Bhajjawala. On information, the police admitted him to the CHC for treatment where the doctor declared him brought dead. Shivdutt Sharma, son of Anil Sharma (55), a resident of village Navka, used to work at a dhaba located on Dhampur Marg. After taking leave in the morning, went to village Asafabad Chaman by bicycle. When he was returning from there, suddenly near village Bhajjawala, he parked the bicycle and lay down. Seeing him lying down, the villagers informed the police. Police reached the information and admitted him to CHC for treatment, where doctor Khalid Akhtar declared him dead. He told that he died due to heart attack.

Thavasi Mani (38) is a resident of Vetri Nagar, Kalliyankattu Valasu, Vallipurathanpalayam near Erode. He was working as a temporary employee in Erode Corporation. His wife is Tamilselvi. Thavasi Mani said he had irritation in his heart when he woke up in the morning on the day of the incident. However, after some time, Thavasi Mani was unable to even stand up and with the help of people nearby, Tamilselvi rushed Thavasi Mani to the Government Headquarters Hospital in Erode. The doctor who examined him there said that Thavasimani had died on the way. The Vellode police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Jamshedpur - A 32-year-old worker, identified as Khagen Mahato, collapsed while working at a private sugar mill in Karnataka on Monday. The employer transported the body of the deceased to his native village at Ambhula in Chakulia block in East Singhbhum on Wednesday. The family members and the local public representatives, however, were enraged at the company management for transporting the corpse without conducting an autopsy. Further, the company management did not communicate to the bereaved family about the monetary compensation or if the kin of the deceased will get a job. Chakulia police station in-charge, Santan Kumar Tiwari, said that police is looking into the matter. "The deceased was taken to the doctor but his life couldn't be saved. He died of cardiac arrest," the police officer citing details gathered in the preliminary investigation.

Police said the deceased Kanahiya Lal Sehariya, 40, resided with his family members at the staff quarter in Gandhi Medical College. He was employed as a class four employee. Around 10.30 am, when Sehariya was standing in front of his house, he suddenly fell unconscious and collapsed on the ground. His family members rushed him to Hamidia hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead and alerted the cops. Police said he was suffering from cardiac illness, so it was suspected that he might have suffered cardiac arrest.

Karachi - A teenage boy died of cardiac arrest in the plane during his flight to Karachi on Tuesday. According to a report, 19-year-old Hunain Farooq, resident of Baldia Town, Karachi, was travelling in a Serene Airlines flight from Islamabad to Karachi when he suddenly felt pain in his chest. As his condition worsened, the airline authorities asked the Civil Aviation Authority and doctors of health ministry at Karachi Airport to make arrangements to provide him prompt medical aid. But when the traveller was brought out of the plane, doctors examined him and pronounced him dead. The health ministry doctors issued his death certificate.

Schwalger died suddenly on December 5 in Aleisa, Samoa, where he had been living since leaving Auckland in 2020. He was 46-years-old, and leaves behind five children and their mother, who live together in New Zealand for schooling. [His daughter] Kayla said she and her mother arrived in Samoa to figure out what had happened the day after her father died. She said they don’t have clear answers yet but an autopsy was held.

China: Solomon Islands ambassador to Beijing dies suddenly, 5 foreign diplomats have died so far

John Moffat Fugui died at the age of 61. Solomon's Foreign Department gave this information on Friday. Fugui is the fifth foreign diplomat to die in China. So far, five diplomats have died in the capital Beijing in the last two years. Dave Garratt, who’s clients included NRL stars Payne Haas, Kotoni Staggs and coach Anthony Seibold, was found dead at his Gold Coast home on Thursday night. His body was found by barrister and close friend David Funch, the Courier Mail has reported. The announcement was made by Howden Saggers Lawyers where Mr Garratt worked. “Howden Saggers Lawyers are today mourning the tragic and unexpected loss of its director Dave Garratt,” the law firm said on Facebook. "Dave’s life was one of service, both to Australia and to justice. This will forever be how we remember him.”

Melbourne - A “beautiful, healthy and happy” Melbourne mum of three has lost her battle with an aggressive form of cancer just 16 days after suffering her first symptom. Elizabeth Kelly died on December 15 — nine days after she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma — leaving her husband AJ Kelly and their three children, Sienna, 7, and twins Fletcher and Scarlett, 5, heartbroken just before Christmas. The 39-year-old initially went to the doctor with what she believed to be painful kidney stones, close family friend Russell Spear told Yahoo News Australia on Friday. “It turned out to be burst melanoma cells,” he said. Cancer was also discovered in her lungs, breast and spine, and it quickly spread further to her bones, lymphatic system and brain. A melanoma on the mum’s brain began to bleed and she died soon after.
Man dies chasing dog in lake

Another man also died on Boxing Day after being pulled unresponsive from the water at Lake Hume near Albury in Victoria’s north-east. The man, believed to be in his 30s, is thought to have suffered a medical episode when he entered the water to chase his dog at Kookaburra Point in Ebden just before 3 pm on Monday, Victoria Police said. Onlookers pulled the man to shore and started CPR before paramedics arrived. He was then transported to hospital, where he later died.

Crew member dies on foreign vessel in Bluff

A person has died suddenly on a vessel at South Port in Bluff. Police were called to the port at 9.30 am, and are working with Maritime New Zealand to work out what has happened. The Maritime Union said it understood a foreign crew member died on a container ship while cranes onboard were being moved. The union said the ship was believed to be the MSC Resilient III, registered under the Liberian flag. That made the ship a flag of convenience vessel, which were "notorious for the issues around safety and seafarers' rights", the union said. The death was a sad and stark reminder that the maritime industry was dangerous, the union said.
