The Buffs longtime play-by-play announcer revealed Deion Sanders was out. “We are going without Coach Prime here today," Johnson Said. "We received notification a little while again that (he) was a little under the weather and had a bad reaction to his immune IVs, is what I was told. Well, you know, we had a team meeting this morning and any time his not in our presence we know something is wrong, he doesn’t miss very much. So, I went and checked up on him, he wasn’t feeling well, so we resumed the meeting but he was at practice, for the entire time, he’s just not at full strength right now but he’s trying to take care of that.”

WVU strongly encourages, but does not require, everyone to stay optimally protected against COVID-19 by getting their primary vaccine series and staying up-to-date with a booster dose if they are eligible to receive one.
Olympian Suni Lee Gives Insight Into Her Battle With Incurable Kidney Disease
October 5, 2023
Minnesota - Olympic gymnast Suni Lee shed new light on the difficulties she's faced while navigating an onslaught of sudden health issues. Earlier this year, the 20-year-old was diagnosed with an incurable kidney disease that cut her final NCAA gymnastics season with Auburn University short. In a new interview with SELF magazine, Lee revealed that the diagnosis has also prevented her from training. She said it all began in February when the Minnesota-born athlete woke up with swollen ankles. At first, she shrugged it off, thinking it was just a nasty side effect of all the training. But then, the next morning, the swelling spread, and when she woke up her face, legs and hands were also puffy. On April 3, Lee announced she was ending her sophomore season early due to a “non-gymnastics health-related issue involving my kidneys.” As of right now, Lee's doctors are still working on finding her the right combination of medication and treatment plans, but she's not letting any health issues keep her from competing or let her eyes stray from the prize: the 2024 Olympics.
Auburn’s “vaccination” policy:
Everyone who is able to get the vaccine should get it as soon as possible. The more people who get vaccinated, the better we'll be able to stop the spread of the virus.

Kevin Nash Comments On His Recent Cancer Treatment
October 15, 2023
During the latest edition of his popular Kliq This podcast, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash revealed he had recently undergone surgery to remove a cancerous mole on his cheek. Thankfully, he would confirm he was going to be okay, casually saying, “ I have a f*cking cut on my face, which will heal. ” However, he would go on to put the blame on the use of tanning beds throughout his career. “I know exactly why I have these problems, I’ve had several things cut off of me, was the 25-plus years of laying in tanning beds in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and everywhere else that had no sun because we had Monday Night Raw, and there wasn’t an alternative. It wasn’t like spray tans or anything that were effective. When tanning beds first came out, they were saying how they took the burning rays out of it, it was safer than the sun.” 64-year-old Nash last wrestled in 2018 and has since retired from the ring due to multiple injuries catching up to him.

LSU golf coach resigns
October 14, 2023
Chuck Winstead stepped down Friday as LSU's director of golf and men's golf coach, citing what he and the athletic department described as health reasons, ending the longest and one of the most successful tenures of anyone to lead the program. Winstead, who coached LSU to the 2015 NCAA championship, will not accompany the team to the final tournament on its fall schedule, which begins Monday in Little Rock, Arkansas. According to the university, Winstead will transition into an administrative role within the athletic department after first focusing on his health. ''Chuck is a Tiger, through and through,'' LSU athletic director Scott Woodward said Friday in a university news release. ''We fully support his decision to prioritize his health at this time, and we will do all we can to support him during this transition. LSU's golf programs will continue to thrive thanks to his leadership. He has established a championship standard that we will build upon and carry forward.'' The decision came two days after Winstead and five players returned from an appearance in the prestigious Jackson T. Stephens Cup tournament in Dallas.
