Snoop Dogg Cancels Multiple Concerts
August 5, 2023
Music fans wanting to see Snoop Dogg live may want to check their ticket dates. A statement posted on the venue's website Wednesday morning confirmed that the performances scheduled for August 16 at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas, by Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and the Ying Yang Twins had been canceled. Also, Ticketmaster noted on its website that shows scheduled for Friday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, next Tuesday at the Smoothing King Center in New Orleans, and next Thursday at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, have all been canceled. "All tickets purchased at the box office or through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded. Please allow up to 30 days for the refund to process," Simmons Bank Arena said.
Simmons Bank Arena has not yet announced why the show was canceled. Even as recently as last Thursday, it was still being advertised on social media that a special $30 ticket sale would be held. Snoop Dogg's fans in Jacksonville, Florida, who are planning to attend his show later this month, may also have to wait a while longer for the event. The concert scheduled for the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on Thursday, Aug. 10 was postponed. The postponement was announced Tuesday on ASM Global’s social media accounts for JaxEvents, which runs the organization's events. "Due to circumstances beyond their control, the event organizer has postponed this event. We are working to reschedule this show and will announce the new date as soon as possible," the post read.

Iron Maiden drummer, Nicko McBrain has revealed that he was left temporarily paralysed on the right side of his body after suffering a stroke in January 2023. The news comes after Nicko, 71, released a statement and video via Iron Maiden’s social media accounts —as well as that of his drum shop, Nicko McBrain’s Drum One — explaining that while he is continuing to undergo treatment, the ordeal left him worried that his drumming career was over for good. “Hello Boys and Girls, I hope this message finds you all well!” Nicko begins. “The reason I'm writing to you all today is to let you know of a very serious health problem that I have been through. In January I had a stroke, thank the Lord it was a minor one referred to as a TIA. It left me paralyzed on my right side from my shoulder on down, of course I was very worried that my career was over but with the love and support from my wife, Rebecca and family, my doctors, especially Julie my OT (Occupational Therapist), and my Maiden family I was able to bounce back to somewhere near 70% recovered."

Mick Jagger ‘Frail’ While Leaving 80th Birthday Party, Fans Concerned About His Health
July 27, 2023
The Rolling Stones vocalist Mick Jagger looked frail when he ended his 80th birthday celebration.
The rocker marked a special day in his life Wednesday during his birthday bash at his West London home before continuing the celebration through an afterparty at nightclub Embargo Republica. Photos from the event, as shared by People, captured the star-studded event as the stars joined the rocker in his celebration.
Some photos of Jagger, however, sparked concerns as the now-80-year-old singer "looked a bit frail."
In the photos from Mega (via Ok! Magazine) the vocalist can be seen donning his forest green suit and printed shirt as he went out of the London nightclub after calling it a night. His security team led him as they held him in his arm to assist the singer, who looked a little thinner as he grew older [sic].
Though some fans were concerned about it, others reminded the public that Jagger remains as health as ever despite his age.

I find it bizarre how all these counter-culture types folded as soon as the "man" told them to.
Dave Grohl is a piece of shit. His drummer Taylor Hawkins would still be alive for his wife and kids if Grohl wasn’t such a vax fanatic.
