Tom Sizemore's family has a tough decision -- in light of his condition not having improved since his brain aneurysm ... his life may well soon be coming to an end.

The actor's manager, Charles Lago, tells TMZ ... doctors updated Tom's loved ones Monday, and the word is -- it's not good. He remains in critical care, in a coma and in ICU ... with no sign of improvement at this point, we're told.

Rep. Joaquin Castro has surgery to remove cancerous tumors

Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro underwent "successful" surgery to remove gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors, he tweeted Monday. Castro, who is recovering in Texas, said he expects to return to Washington, D.C., in "several weeks."

Castro said doctors discovered the "small, slow-growing, and mostly asymptomatic tumors" last summer after a series of tests. Castro didn't disclose his cancer diagnosis until Monday.

Paul Nassif reveals skin cancer diagnosis but says ‘he’ll be okay’

Dr Paul Nassif revealed that he has skin cancer in February 2023. The Botched star took to social media to use his diagnosis as a “teaching point” for other people.

The E! Entertainment star and world-renowned plastic surgeon explained to his fans that he had some biopsies and now knows that he has basal cell carcinoma.

Dr Nassif explained the procedure that his doctor wants to do in terms of treatment and he said that he will keep his followers updated on his journey back to recovery.

The 51-year-old posted a photo of himself using a walker and in a hospital gown to social media on Tuesday. PWInsider is reporting that Richards is said to have been dealing with back/spine issues that have gotten worse in recent weeks.

'The View': Whoopi Goldberg Sparks Concerns After Third Straight Sick Day

The View fans finally learned the cause of Whoopi Goldberg 's recent three-day absence from the show. The show's 67-year-old moderator has not appeared on the program since Tuesday due to apparently battling a cold. "Whoopi's still out sick today," Joy Behar said at the top of Thursday's show, as reported by People . "She's got a bad virus of some sort." Her third consecutive day off sick made her miss the Friday, Feb. 24 broadcast, but she is never on the show on Fridays. "She'll be back next week," Behar continued. "She'll be back." As Behar revealed on Wednesday, "Whoopi is still out, coughing up. I'm sorry, you're stuck with us. She's fighting a bad cold." Sunny Hostin added, "Those colds are going around."

John Malkovich thinks hiking conditions 'must have led to some sort of catastrophic and immediate error' in disappearance of 'closest friend' Julian Sands

John Malkovich is opening up about his 40-year friendship with actor Julian Sands — and what he thinks may have happened to the A Room with a View star, who was reported missing last month after going hiking on California's Mt. Baldy. Last week the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department announced that search efforts to locate Sands would be delayed "for some time" due to a winter storm in the area. 

The Mt. Baldy area was also beset by storms around the time of. the 65-year-old Sands's disappearance on Jan. 13. Speaking to the Guardian, his longtime friend Malkovich speculated that the weather conditions may have contributed to the British star making an "irreversible" mistake, despite his substantial hiking experience.

“I haven’t really talked about what happened with Jules,” Malkovich, 69, told the British newspaper. “But, in a way, it’s a choice, because he was an inveterate mountain climber/hiker. He was always tramping off to Kilimanjaro, or Antartica, or the Andes, or the Alps — a very experienced climber who’d been through very hairy experiences.

“I suppose the particular conditions on the ground that day on Mt. Baldy must have led to some sort of catastrophic and immediate error that was irreversible," he added. "That was my instinct upon hearing it. But he knew what the conditions were, and that’s what he loved to do. He found great solace in the solitude of that.”
