2 + 2 = 5 in Trudeau's Canada, where those who won't agree are in big trouble
Canada wants all the world to follow its example, and crack down on "misinformation" (i.e., truth) in favor of "the truth" (i.e., misinformation).
Three signs that Trudeau’s Canada is getting very hard to tell apart from Orwell’s Oceania.
Canada tells world leaders to clamp down on online “misinformation”
November 21, 2022
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino are doing the rounds, insisting on the need to fight online harassment and misinformation.
[Note the sly equation of “misinformation” with “harassment,” implying that dissent of any kind is an aggressive act—like hate speech—and should be banned and stigmatized accordingly.]
At the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia, Trudeau said that Canada wants to regulate online “harassment and violence.” He added that Canada’s social media platforms have a responsibility to “address online harassment and violence to ensure trust in technology.”
“While always ensuring and defending free speech, we must make it clear that it cannot be OK to bully and attack people online,” Trudeau said.
[So much for harassment (or “harassment and violence”). Marco Mendicino, Canada’s Minister of Public Safety, decried “misinformation,” and the need to STOP it, too.]
At the G7 summit in Germany, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino told other interior and security ministers there is a need to tackle disinformation. On November 17, he tweeted that “the G7 stands united” when it comes to “addressing the rise of mis and disinformation online.”
On November 19, Mendicino tweeted that Canada will host a G7 summit next year to fight “disinformation.”
“Taking a leading role at the G7, Canada has invited counterpart interior and public safety ministers here for a summit to tackle disinformation, which is one of the most pervasive threats to all our democracies right now,” he tweeted.
[Bear that fake concern for “our democracies” in mind as you read on:]
He added that a summit in Canada would help “flip the script, and to get ahead of the curve of disinformation.”
“This is where we think that Canada and the G7 can show leadership,” he continued.
According to Mendicino, the “marketplace for disinformation” is bigger than the “marketplace for reliable information,” and Canadians need to be helped to distinguish between the two.
[Let’s take those two clauses one at a time:
[Indeed, the “marketplace for disinformation” IS bigger than that other “marketplace” for what Mendicino calls “reliable information,” which is a euphemism for state lies. The former is a vastly bigger “marketplace,” because so many out there crave the truth, while ever fewer trust the state, or any of its corporate cohorts, to tell any truth at all. Thus, despite his feigned devotion to democracy, Mendicino, like Trudeau and all the rest of them, actually detests it, and is working to get rid of it.
[As to Mendicino’s second clause:
Like the title “Minister of Public Safety,” that line is straight out of Oceania. “Canadians need to be helped to distinguish” between truth and lie is a faux-altruistic way of saying that Canadians must be FORCED to see lies as truth and vice-versa— by making it impossible for them to find any truth online, and by indoctrinating high school students, to prepare them to behave as junior “Truth Police”:]
He continued to say that, to fight disinformation, online platforms should ensure they are “adhering to the terms and conditions of their own user agreements.”
During the summit, he suggested the education of high school students on how to identify disinformation, as well as online scams and fraudulent emails and texts.

While such bureaucratic blather hides the dictatorial rage behind it, that rage comes through loud and clear in the coercive shrieks of Canandian mask-Nazi Nili Kaplan-Myrth:
Meanwhile, Trudeau’s medical accomplices have recently proposed a psychiatric regimen to deal with “vaccine hesitancy,” as if the latter weren’t a well-informed and wholly rational position but a mental illness.
Treat vaccine hesitancy with drugs and psychotherapy: Ontario College of Physicians
October 11, 2022
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) wants doctors to treat patients who are resistant to the Covid-19 vaccine with medication and psychotherapy.
A revised version of the CPSO’s website discusses managing “anxieties related to” the Covid-19 shot.
“It is also important that physicians work with their patients to manage anxieties related to the vaccine and not enable avoidance behavior,” wrote the CPSO.
“For example, for extreme fear of needles (trypanophobia) or other cases of serious concern, responsible use of prescription medications and/or referral to psychotherapy may be available options,” it continued.
“Overall, physicians have a responsibility to allow their patients to be properly informed about vaccines and not have those anxieties empowered by an exemption.”

Trudeau proposes poisoning those who object to being poisoned.
I think what has gone on in Canada has been a huge surprise to most Americans. It has totally changed my view of Canadians, that they are going right along with their descent into totalitarianism. There must be a really deep class divide for the country to turn against the truckers and the freedom convoy. I hope the truckers and their supporters emigrate to the U.S. We need people like that.
