We wrote this parody a couple of weeks ago, but haven't found anyone to hit the high notes.

Sayin' A Lie (Stayin' Alive)

Well you can talk all you want about Jonas Salk

Those Pharma fans stretched around the block

The signal’s loud and we've been warned

Been poked and jabbed since we were born

They say it's alright, it's ok

We'll all just look the other way

Somehow try to comprehend

How the New York Times can just pretend

Whether you're an anchor or whether you're a banker

You're sayin' a lie

Sayin a lie

The narrative is breakin' but everybody's quakin'

They're sayin' a lie

Sayin' a lie

Ah ah ah ah sayin’ a lie, sayin’ a lie

Ah ah ah ah sayin’ a lie

Oh around the clock…

The stats go low and the stats go high

But whichever way you must comply

Got a dirty mask stuck on my shoe

And the nurses dancing in the ICU

It's all night, it's all day

You'll never live the same old way

Such a strange new fashion trend

For the new world order's not your friend

Whether you're an anchor or whether you're a banker

You're sayin' a lie

Sayin a lie

The narrative is breakin' but the media’s still fakin'

They're sayin' a lie

Sayin' a lie

Ah ah ah ah sayin’ a lie, sayin’ a lie

Ah ah ah ah sayin’ a lie

It’s germ warfare, but they won’t tell me

No, they won’t tell me

They’re sayin’ a lie…

Well you can tell by the way the agencies interlock

It’s not a simple plan, it’s awe and shock

Panicked crowd and I could have sworn

It was a different world where I was born

But it’s alright, it’s okay

I have got a different way

Listen to whoever’s Twitter-banned

Leave the New York Times in the garbage can

I’m taking Ivermectin, and I’m stayin alive

Staying alive

Whether you’re infected or want to stay protected

You’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive

Ah, ah, ah ah staying alive

They’re not rare, don’t try to tell me

Don’t try to tell me…

Whether you're an anchor or whether you're a banker

You're sayin' a lie

Sayin a lie

The narrative is breakin and when we all awaken

We’re seein’ the lie

Seein' the lie

Ah ah ah ah seein’ the lie, seein’ the lie

Ah ah ah ah seein’ the lie…

I already liked Eric Clapton, but I was even more impressed when he opened up about his bad experience with the jabs, being sick a few days and almost 2 weeks for the second, and having these nerves feeling like electric shocks, and I was appalled by the reactions of others. So glad he came out and warned people. He probably saved several from damaging themselves.

Former Democrat millionaire donor, Steve Kirsch, drops bombshells about the vaccine genocide!

The media is on the wrong side, and shoving the Truth about the vaccine under the rug. https://www.stewpeters.com/video/2022/08/fox-news-profits-while-kids-are-killed-steve-kirsch-drops-nukes-on-fox-about-vax-genocide/

Hi Mark, we were FB friends before I deactivated my account. I'm the founder of Sane Francisco (which also has a Substack), a group which connects freedom people and builds parallel structures in SF and the Bay Area. I've been wanting to share this song by my pal and collaborator, Rob MyJob, who was fired from his job as a city worker after refusing to get the V. It's all about mask pollution and general insanity around the muzzles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0bpCyr-8cY

The article on Eric 'n Van has a depressingly familiar ring from the turgid days of summer 2021 – although to be fair, time stopped in spring 2020 anyway. The “perplexing” – or is it “alarming”? – rise of the “covid conspiracy rock star”.

“Here we ask: does rock have a Covid conspiracy problem?” Nasty problem! Naughty problem! Naughty rock stars!

“Nothing riles a privileged multi-millionaire rock star like the threat of The Man clamping down on their freedom.”

Yeah I’ve seen this one before! The covid faithful as the gritty proles against those spoiled brat stars above!

Blah blah pampered druggie rock stars blah blah millions dead from covid schmovid blah blah

“But no, it seems our septuagenarian freedom fighter copped a couple of bad doses of the Astra-Zeneca vaccine, the second of which caused pain and numbness in his extremities but, crucially, didn’t cause him to keel over and die.”

I’m guessing he must have been one of the lucky ones then!

“While it’s churlish to feel bad for an elderly man having a rough time of it, that old Numbhand is couching his experiences in the language of the conspiracy theorist undercuts any sympathy.”

Isn’t it nice when the writer is telling you how to react? And note that all-purpose curse “the language of the conspiracy theorist”. Once again the magical thinking whereby “conspiracy theory” negates itself because there are no conspiracies! There just aren’t!

And here comes the “Right Wing” tag! “Fascist white supremacist Holocaust deniers”!

After which an increasingly frothing emphasis on how “out of date” and “irrelevant” these singers are. Not like our up and coming zippy little .... umm where are they? Oh there they are cowering under the bed with their arses in the air waiting for the next vax!

“Still buying the anti-vaxx line?” The next time you find yourself coughing up blood with your genitalia hanging off and zombiefied masses of puss erupting from every part of your etc etc yackety schmackety evil evil evil etc

Are you still there, you rock critic vax hacks? Of course you are! You always will be with that “scientifically verified” saline drip of big bucks pumping into your vile venal vacuous voids.

Came across this song. It's about our "Gaslighting Governments". He's kind of handsome I think: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRrppGZJ0_o

Wow, what a great selection of protest songs to start the day with Mark, thank you! Completely different genres but all with the same pissed off, rebellious beating heart...their utter frustration and indignation at the lies and shitfuckery being foisted on us daily is palpable. Sad that a lot of our musical rebel heroes of old have been captured and proven spineless and compliant during this sad phase in human history but it's heartening to see a new batch rising to take their place. If the musicians and artists can't save us and lead us out of blind, compliant servitude who will? I would just humbly like to add a link to my partner's recently completed Covid theme album (Jace Maxwell: Covidians) below, i think it fits in perfectly with the general feel/theme of your post today (i would particularly recommend Blame and Lies for anyone who knows anyone touched by vax injuries...which is practically all of us right?) Thanks for all you do to keep us connected, cheered and informed Mark.
