Toby Keith Health Update: Singer Speaks Out On His Cancer Battle For The First Time Since His Diagnosis
December 4, 2022
Toby Keith opened up about his battle wit
Toby Keith shockingly confessed his bout with stomach cancer is "pretty debilitating" in his first interview since revealing his diagnosis earlier this year.
"Im thinking about getting back into fighting shape, I need a little bit of time to just rest up and heal up," the 61-year-old American singer-songwriter said. "It's pretty debilitating to have to go through all that, but as long as everything stays hunky-dory, then we'll look at something good in the future."
In June, Tricia Lucus's husband announced he was stepping away from the limelight to undergo cancer treatment.

'THE BRADSHAW BUNCH' WON'T RETURN ... because of 2nd cancer diagnosis
December 1, 2022
Terry Bradshaw’s family show, "The Bradshaw Bunch," won't be returning for a 3rd season, TMZ has learned, and the reason has to do with Terry's health.
Production sources tell TMZ ... the E! show was renewed for a third season and filming was supposed to begin last March, but around that time Terry informed producers he had a serious health condition, which demanded his full attention.
At the time, we're told Terry didn't give specifics on his diagnosis but he let producers know he couldn't move forward with the show. In the end, our sources say the Bradshaws and E! mutually decided to not go forward with the series. The network has never disclosed the show was canceled.

Nick let fans know there's no need to send "well wishes or prayers," as "it's just pneumonia, nothing I can't handle."
"Don't trip," the 42-year-old said, noting he only needs "some solid rest and I will be back on the journey to becoming stronger than ever."
Nick went on to share that he became sick just a day after performing in New York for Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out Live.
"Crazy thing is, last night we was just rocking a sold out crowd at Madison square garden in front of thousands of fans, now I'm all alone in a tiny hospital room," he wrote in his post. "Life is definitely a rollercoaster!"

Penguins star Kris Letang suffers stroke
November 30, 2022
Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang missed Tuesday night’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes with what was described as an illness, but the issue was a lot more serious than it sounded.
Penguins general manager Ron Hextall announced on Wednesday that Letang will be out indefinitely after the 35-year-old suffered a stroke. Letang is not experiencing any lasting effects from the stroke, and the condition is not considered career-threatening at this time.
Hextall said Letang reported symptoms to the Penguins’ training staff on Monday and was immediately taken to the hospital for testing. Letang also suffered a stroke in 2014, and doctors discovered at the time that he was born with a small hole in the wall of his heart.

Laura Rutledge Explains Absence From SEC Nation Saturday
November 20, 2022
ESPN’s Laura Rutledge is a mainstay on SEC Network’s SEC Nation on college football Saturdays. But when fans tuned in Saturday morning to get ready for another great day across the conference, Rutledge wasn’t in her usual host chair for the show.
Instead, it was Marty Smith who stepped in and manned the controls in the absence of Rutledge.
Now we know why Rutledge, who is regularly seen all over ESPN covering college football and the NFL, wasn’t on the show Saturday morning.
“A little update: I’m not great at slowing down but this week my body has forced me to,” Rutledge wrote. “Unfortunately too sick to make it to SEC Nation but the show is in great hands with Marty Smith. Reese is also sick so she’s taking a break from her picks. Hoping to be back soon!”

After Cancer Diagnosis, Taylor Dayne Is Asking More Women To Get Colonoscopies
November 19, 2022
Taylor Dayne stepped into the spotlight in the ’80s because of her pop hits. Now 60 years old, the pop singer is stepping back into the limelight with a cautionary tale to women. After being diagnosed with colon cancer, the “Tell It to My Heart” singer is telling all women to go in for checkups.
The American Music Award-winning singer recently opened up to Good Morning America about the importance of women receiving health screenings. Back in July, Dayne was diagnosed with colon cancer during a routine colonoscopy. Apparently, the singer goes twice a year for a colonoscopy after benign polyps were found in the past.

Before a small plane crashed into power lines and tower in Maryland, an air traffic controller warned pilot his altitude reading was too low
November 29, 2022
Moments before a small private airplane crashed into power lines in Maryland on Sunday evening, air traffic controllers urgently warned the pilot that the aircraft was flying too low, according to archived recordings. "N201RF, if you hear this transmission, low altitude alert," said a controller from Potomac Terminal Radar Approach Control in the transmission recording, accessed from LiveATC.net. The controller repeated the current air pressure to give the pilot a more accurate read of his height above sea level. Earlier in the flight, the pilot apparently missed assigned directives from the controller who explained he was worried the single-engine Mooney airplane would stray into the path of commercial flights approaching nearby Washington Dulles International Airport. Air traffic control recordings detail that the pilot was cleared for an approach to land at Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg by sole reference to instruments in the airplane, not outside visual cues. The weather at the time of the crash was reported as poor with low clouds and bad visibility.
The pilot was identified by Maryland State Police as Patrick Merkle, 65, of Washington, DC. The passenger is Jan Williams, 66, of Louisiana, state police said in a news release. The two were stuck in the plane for nearly seven hours after it crashed into power lines and a utility tower in Montgomery County, Maryland, according to fire chief Scott Goldstein. Both were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including orthopedic and trauma injuries from the crash and hypothermia, Goldstein said. At a later news conference he said their conditions had improved and one person had been released.
it's getting increasingly painful to give the appreciative little red heart for all this misery. TQ Marc for all the work you do!
Don't follow that advice. I just read an article a couple weeks ago, that colonoscopy is not really relevant. And it can cause small damage to your intestines and cause bleedings or cancer. A friend long ago had a pap smear, and before the result came back (usually 5 to 6 weeks) she got pain in her tummy. Immediately had to had hysterectomy, because cancer. Smear came back fine. Docs tell you to get all kind of tests because money. Feel your own body is way better.
