If you don't mind me reciprocating, from the Auld Country (my parents, in retirement, lived in Alloway, 15 minutes' walk from Burns' Cottage), I've just come across Scots singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini (a great Scots name, haha) singing both the popular modern version and Burns' own earlier, more melancholic and less rousing version.
Are y’all aware of the NFL player who just collapsed during MNF. Made tackle got up and just collapsed. CPR administered for a long while. Teammates crying. Ambulance came into field and took the 24 year old buffalo bills’ defender to hospital. Doesn’t look good. Game suspended.
