In reading about Pete Davidson’s terrible troubles with addiction, I can’t help but wonder - as I’m fortunate to be 45 years clean and sober (and have avoided the COVID shots like the plague) - what, in particular seems to be going on with addicts/alcoholics who’ve taken the COVID shots. “Newcomers” (those with just a few weeks or months sober) don’t seem to be able to stay sober - and act out horribly getting themselves into bad trouble - again & again.
I understand that getting sober and staying sober isn’t easy but after years in the sober community, I don’t recall seeing such a huge excess of recidivism.
I’m seeing this more and more and can’t help but wonder if there’s a connection.
This is a recent observation but it “feels” like it could be possible.

The shots do affect mental health. We know they affect personality changes in many people. One of the scary stories is a doctor who had it all and she kills her baby I think and herself. Something like that. Lots of weird things are happening. Also, these shot increase the number of suicides. I can't explain it all but doctors and scientists are noticing connections. Maybe you can explain how you stay sober, is some of it a mental exercise? Or as that may be too personal, flip it, why do you think people who have taken the shots are falling off the wagon more? I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this.

(And I’ll be working on a short piece re my observations regarding a possible connection between the shots and the inability of some alcoholic/addicts who are in recovery to remain clean and sober.)
Actually the subject of “staying sober” is pretty deep - and it depends on how deep you want to go.
For me it’s definitely not, nor has it ever been “a mental exercise”.
I realize there are many theories and “cures” out there now including a plethora of pharmaceuticals to (allegedly in my opinion) “support” getting sober.
Some of them work for some people and
I’m not an authority. I only have my own individual experience to share.
The first question to ask oneself is this:
Why am I asking about “how to stay sober”? Do I feel that I have a problem? Am I drinking more than I think I should? Are friends telling me I need to cut back??
Maybe you’re inquiring on behalf of a friend or loved one?
The thing - strictly from my personal experience - is that over several years, I became aware that I could not control my drinking. I’d tell myself that I’d have just one. But inevitably the first drink (or snort or toke) would lead to much more - often until I’d pass out.
Eventually I came to see that I needed help. Of my own repeated efforts and promises to myself, I was unable to control or stop my drinking & using.
I was really lucky as I was working on a job where my immediate boss has just gotten sober through the help of Alcoholics Anonymous. Long story very short, I started going to meetings and eventually stopped drinking and using altogether - and by the Grace of God and the Fellowship of AA, I’ve been sober and clean for over 45 years.🙏
This may not be the answer you were looking to hear. Lol. And I get it. Many want to find any other way than admitting to themselves that they are an alcoholic.
It’s truly tragic that even though it’s been designated as an actual disease, many still see it as a moral failing - a lack of strong character - but it’s anything but that. It is a physical allergy coupled with a mental obsession. When alcohol gets into my body (the first drink) all bets are off because the craving for more “must” be quenched. It’s my understanding that it’s been proven that alcoholics metabolize alcohol completely differently than the normal social drinker who does not experience the driving craving.
It’s a really hard disease to explain to “normies” - normal drinkers who can take a sip and leave it.
If you’re asking on your own behalf or that of another - know that there’s help available. Al-Anon is a great program for the loved ones of alcoholics.

Somewhere between a physical allergy, a mental obsession, metabolizing alcohol differently, and the dang covid shot is probably part of of why some vaxxed drinkers, or former drinkers, are maybe drinking or drinking more.
I'm sorry I kinda jumped on you, and Professor Miller noticed your comment right away too. I've been paying attention to this mess since the beginning and maybe because of general fatigue on some of the topics, your comment stood out. It was completely different. How do the shots affect former drinkers? Has this contributed a little to vaxxidents? to the weird angry gunfights, stabbings, etc.? To suicides? To what else? Then I got to thinking, what else are these shots doing that we have missed? Maybe someone else out there has noticed something else odd that most people don't see.

Agree! I've seen it too. As well as ppl progressing very quickly into severe addiction. It's a coping mechanism for sure and this psyop has given us all an excuse to over do it in one way or another. I think rational thinking has decreased/subsided due to fight or flight being triggered constantly. There goes the ability to talk yourself out of over indulging.
The shots change brain chemistry, and not in a particularly positive direction. For drug and alcohol addicts - former and current - whose brains are already damaged to some degree or another, this additional stress on the brain could have quite serious consequences.
That makes sense. The shots over all affect ones health negatively. The person doesn't feel as well, thus feels more stress trying to keep up with life when not feeling well. Thus they lean back to their old ways trying to cope with the stress.

I question the existence of the alleged blood brain barrier. Why do anesthesias work if there is a blood brain barrier? If they get through, why not any other drug?
Would seem the products (unknown) in the solution, if it makes those thick tubrs in the blood, would it not do the same in person's brain, this causing restricted blood flow, causing lack of oxygen, killing off portions of neurons?

But I can tell you personally after my second pregnancy many years ago, I developed Hashimoto’s. It has been linked to hormone surges due to pregnancy. And the symptoms of feeling foggy and having “mom brain”, as it is sometimes called, are pretty spot on. So who knows? The ex-wife, Kristina, also has some health issues recently. She was diagnosed with PCOS and I think a couple of other things. Possibly related to the shots, who knows?
