TV War Correspondent Christiane Amanpour, 65, Says Battling Ovarian Cancer Was ‘Very Different’ Than Covering Conflicts
October 17, 2023
Christiane Amanpour was diagnosed with stage 2 ovarian cancer in 2021. Since then, she’s undergone surgery and chemotherapy to reach remission. However, the chance for recurrence of ovarian cancer is relatively high for women impacted Ovarian cancer recurrence happens in “almost 25 percent of cases with early-stage diseases and in more than 80 percent with more advanced stages,” according to research published in Gland Surgery medical journal. After ovarian cancer patients complete initial treatment, maintenance therapy may be recommended to try and delay possible recurrence. Christiane Amanpour, 65, is an international affairs and war correspondent who’s demonstrated her bravery beyond doubt, but she says her battle with ovarian cancer was “very different.” Her heroic efforts are partly why she’s the recipient of an award advocating for women. While the resilient journalist has since completed treatment for her cancer, the chance of a recurrence is high. Fortunately, for women impacted by this cancer, treatment options exist to not only deal with recurrence but potentially slow the time it takes for recurrence.
American Pickers star Frank Fritz files official will for $6M net worth as he recovers from debilitating stroke
October 15, 2023
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Frank’s lawyer filed a "will prior to death" on October 11, 2023. The filing was made to “safekeep” the American Pickers star’s will, according to Iowa courts. An Iowa judge has reviewed and accepted the will. Frank is estimated to have a $6 million net worth. Frank suffered the stroke at his Iowa farmhouse in July 2022, as he entered inpatient rehab after a stint in the hospital. The U.S. Sun broke in August 2022 that the conservatorship and guardianship was filed on behalf of Frank. His friend, Chris Davis, is the guardian, while MidWestOne Bank is the conservator. The guardian will help Frank with his Crohn's disease treatment and continued physical therapy. He will also help the TV star grocery shop, cook, and get him to activities. Frank has improved today, as his pal previously told The U.S. Sun: “Frank continues to improve daily. You’re never 100 percent after a stroke, but he’s fine. He’s aware of what’s going on. If he were sitting here right now, you could sit and talk to him. He’s the same old Frank.” Frank was wheelchair-bound after suffering the stroke and even had a ramp installed outside his Iowa home. The friend shared: “He can walk, but he’s always going to need the wheelchair because he can’t walk long distances. Basically, you lose motion. He lost motion. A stroke can affect your left or your right side, it affected his right side.”

Pioneering DJ Eddie Cheba Suffers Third Stroke; Russell Simmons Calls For Action
October 6, 2023
The first time Russell Simmons saw the “world famous” Eddie Cheba perform at the Harlem club Charles Gallery, it was 1977. That night inspired Simmons to pursue a career in Hip-Hop, and it wouldn’t be long before both Rush Communications and Def Jam Recordings became a reality. Cheba was known as one of the best DJs in the city alongside DJ Hollywood and Luv Bug Starski. He would rap along to the music and get the crowd going, something not every DJ could necessarily do. But now, Cheba isn’t doing so well. On Thursday (October 5), Simmons shared an Instagram post indicating Eddie Cheba had been hospitalized. AllHipHop.com reached out to the Def Jam co-founder and discovered Cheba had suffered a stroke. But the following day, Cheba’s condition worsened. As Simmons tells us, “Eddie suffered his third stroke. He’s stable but having issues with memory. We are praying for his full recovery.”

‘He Feels Lost': Pete Davidson's Friends Concerned After Comedian Has Second Car Accident in 3 Months
October 13, 2023
Fragile funnyman Pete Davidson was involved in yet another car accident in California, three months after he escaped jail time for a separate incident, and now friends are reportedly fear that the troubled comic is on the fast track for destruction, RadarOnline.com has learned. The King of Staten Island star, 29, was behind the wheel of black SUV after leaving a stand-up show in Los Angeles on September 30, when he sideswiped a wall and then sped away from the scene. Though the Los Angeles Police department did not respond to the accident and declined to investigate Davidson over the incident, insiders claimed the wreck has left his inner circle worried for his mental state. Back in March, the notorious Casanova was driving around Beverly Hills with then-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders when he lost control of his Mercedes-Benz and jumped a curb, smashing a fire hydrant before careening into a residential property. The accident caused so much damage that the home had to be demolished. Shortly afterward, the former Saturday Night Live cast member checked himself into rehab for the seventh time to address his substance use, borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress syndrome due to losing his firefighting father in the 2001 World Trade Center attacks. The Bupkis star pleaded not guilty to reckless driving for the incident but cut a deal to enter an 18-month diversion program, which included 12 hours of traffic school, to make the misdemeanor offense go away. "It's just one thing after another at a time when Pete's trying to address his drug use and his troubling emotional issues," an insider said of Davidson's latest accident. The comedian has been open about his battle with substance abuse and mental health struggles in the past. During an interview with DJ Charlamagne tha God , Davidson said he's "always depressed." "I’m always depressed , all the time. I have to constantly bring myself out of it," Davidson previously said. "I wake up depressed."
Heather Rae El Moussa Diagnosed with Autoimmune Disorder After Believing Symptoms Were Due to 'Mom Brain'
October 27, 2023
Heather Rae El Moussa is opening up about the moment she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease earlier this year.
The Selling Sunset alum, 36, recently spoke to Today about her health journey. The 36-year-old said she was four months postpartum when she started experiencing intense fatigue
“I remember saying to my assistant, ‘I feel like I’m dead,” she told the outlet. “My brain was so tired. My body was so tired. I was exhausted all the time and no amount of sleep could make it better.”
She initially believed that her symptoms were due to motherhood after welcoming her first child. El Moussa shares son Tristan, 9 months, with husband Tarek, 42, and is stepmom to his two kids, Brayden, 8, and Taylor, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall.
“I was like, ‘I’m probably just foggy because of mom brain,’” El Moussa recalled.

In reading about Pete Davidson’s terrible troubles with addiction, I can’t help but wonder - as I’m fortunate to be 45 years clean and sober (and have avoided the COVID shots like the plague) - what, in particular seems to be going on with addicts/alcoholics who’ve taken the COVID shots. “Newcomers” (those with just a few weeks or months sober) don’t seem to be able to stay sober - and act out horribly getting themselves into bad trouble - again & again.
I understand that getting sober and staying sober isn’t easy but after years in the sober community, I don’t recall seeing such a huge excess of recidivism.
I’m seeing this more and more and can’t help but wonder if there’s a connection.
This is a recent observation but it “feels” like it could be possible.
It really is sad to see so many people harmed by the bioweapon injections, the ones that affect me the most are the kids, its soul crushing.
