Just to clear things up for the good folks at CyclingNews.com: "The measures were put in place to mitigate the risk of sudden cardiac death during sporting activity, with cycling being considered a particularly high-risk activity for those with cardiac irregularities. . . I mean, SPIKE PROTEIN CIRCULATING THROUGH THEIR PREVIOUSLY HEALTHY BODIES."

Please don't misconstrue this as my sole thought on the matter, but more brains, less brawn would've served these athletes well. Had they all banded together and refused to play, they could've killed the mandate. Suffer for 6 months, a year or two, then live to play again and again, with vim, vigor, and in excellent health.
