"A nation can survive its fools, but it cannot survive treason from within. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist."

-- Cicero

Honestly Zoë, from my study of history... Not Bolshevik Russia, not Nazi Germany... Not even Ancient Rome, nor the Renaissance Papacy, compares to our present days in degeneracy, criminality, and corruption.

You're welcome I guess.. I deleted my FB account over a year ago in frustration after my 8th month-long suspension for telling the truth.

PS I'm fairly sure what I said is the truth: Nazi Germany and Bolshevik Russia were both far more violent than what we're experiencing -- yet.

But nowhere near as corrupt.
