Granville. A 61-year-old man dies following a heart attack while driving

This Friday, October 13, 2023, around 9:50 a.m., a motorist was the victim of a heart attack at the wheel, while driving on rue Margueritte-de-Navarre, in Granville (Manche). His vehicle ended up crashing against an electric pole. Witnesses to the accident quickly came to the victim's aid and performed a cardiac massage while waiting for help to arrive. The driver, a 61-year-old man living in Anctoville-sur-Boscq, was taken care of by the SMUR medical team and admitted to the Granville emergency room where he was unfortunately pronounced dead after his admission.

This Finistère man had decided to participate in the Vannes marathon, on Sunday, October 1, 2023, in relay, under the colors of his company, the Breton Poultry Company (SBV). The third relay runner, the young man collapsed (cardiac discomfort) while he was going to pass the baton to his teammate. Despite the rapid arrival of rescue workers, Malo could not be resuscitated. He was then plunged into a coma. He died on Thursday, October 5, as a result of his malaise.
