Thanks, Mark. Quite a few relatively young people this week, sadly.

The comedy series Haydn Gwynne was in, back in the 90s, was called 'Drop the Dead Donkey', not 'Drop Dead Monkey' - it was set in a local newspaper office and signified that something actually newsworthy had turned up!

We know death rates are above average, but how much above average are the deaths in these younger age groups. How does a two year old die of cancer?

The "Drop Dead Monkey" error in the report about Haydn Gwynne is in the original German article, not (as I first suspected) in the auto-translate. I loved "Drop the Dead Donkey" (TV series about a TV newsroom), and fondly remember her as Alex Pates, the sarcastic assistant editor.
