You remind me of an old friend from long ago, an avowed Marxist, who, when I pointed out ever-so-gently the crimes of such as Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Beria, Tito, Ceaușescu, Khrushchev, Castro, Guevara, Brezhnev, Mao, Pol Pot -- not to mention Karl Marx himself -- etc., etc., ad nauseum, invariably replied "That's not TRUE communism!"
