A man died last night in Naples due to a heart attack. The episode was at the center of the umpteenth attack suffered by the 118 personnel involved in the intervention. The doctors were insulted and verbally threatened. Police intervention was necessary. Below is the report from the Facebook page 'Hands Off Hippocrates'. The 'Hands Off Hippocrates' post "You have already killed my sister!" The crew was immediately hit by a multitude of shouts, threats and insults, some of the classics: "It took you an hour", "If dad dies, don't get out of here". But the climax was reached when a lady says: "You have already killed my sister" evidently referring to a previous 118 intervention. “… I'm not afraid of getting 30 years in prison!” After this sentence she starts filming all the rescue phases with her smartphone and publishes the full video on social media! Meanwhile the crew proceeds with the cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, but unfortunately for the man there is nothing to do. One woman present even tried to attack the nurse who managed to escape outside the apartment! After a while the police arrive, called by the rescuer driver who had managed to get away, at the sight of the blue uniforms the relatives exclaim: "Was there a need to call the police?"

A dear memory for the town and someone thought of reposting that photo of Simone, a child, who flew over the skies of the square, playing the Angel of Good. Yesterday the village stopped for his funeral to pray for him, a young thirty-year-old who was taken away from his ancestry so soon. The mayor, Domenico Forgione, proclaimed the city mourning. Closed shops, and also closed the Christmas houses around the imposing castle of the madrigalist prince, symbol of the village in the Fredane valley. On Christmas night a drama hit the community of municipalities in the Alto Vicentino. John Antonhy Faccin, esteemed and well-known engineer from Cornedo Vicentino, resident in Schio and manager of the Dental Art of Montecchio Precalcino, a company specializing in technical furnishings for dental and dental practices, died in Santorso hospital after an illness hit him while he was at his home on the evening of 25 December. I commented earlier today on another substack - I was visiting a commercial office this week and the lady told me she had been off over Xmas to look after her little girl. She took her to hospital (I'm in Northern Italy), and all was well until a couple of days later when chaos ensued - the reason being they had brought a 12 year old in with a heart attack.
