*patient runs into medical office flustered* "Help! I think I may have a blood clot from the safe and effective treatments!!" "OH honey, stop being so anxious. Kids these days!" *doctor turns away, mumbling* "OK, now to fix the dent on that private boat I just bought and re-do my kitchen"....

I was a nurse for almost 40 years and I have had patients who have presented to me new symptoms of swollen leg, some discomfort which may or may not be hot to touch and without fail this has been reported to the doctor urgently never mind the other symptoms the poor girl experienced in the report. I do not understand the actions of the Physician Assistant. Even a nurse with no specialist training would recognise the urgency to the symptoms.

I started to count but gave up half way through —I kept forgetting what number I was at being distracted by the (various) ridiculous 'narratives'. I hope you've got some running totals so far. This post was very lengthy ... they seem to be accelerating, or is it just me?
