I am not sure how much longer the truth can be hidden. The director of a center at a hospital in Chicago that treats cancer patients like my dad, told me his hematologist is double-booked and that they are seeing large numbers of ill people at the hospital. She wasn't sure why. The pat explanation is "delayed treatment due to COVID fear and lockdowns." I am sure that is one factor, but we know the score. Northwestern hospital is also seeing a huge patient volume.
It will go on and on and on. And I would bet that there will be a smattering of people who will NEVER wake up, and will die thinking what they think now. They are lost to us, just as all these folks who have dropped out of life forever are lost to us. Pitiful, sad, and beyond our help.
