The Specials' Terry Hall, Primal Scream's Martin Duffy, Savoy Brown's Kim Simmonds; Michelin-starred chef Paul Kitching; Olympic diving coach David Jenkins; Investment manager Suzanne Hutchins; & more
I’m a MAJOR SKA fan so it’s a sad day for me, despite the fact that Terry appeared very blasé on stage the 2 times I was lucky to see them perform. Other smaller bands were more fun to see - the dancing was still awesome!
Terry Hall is the bigger loss by far, but Martin Duffy did add something special to some amazing pieces. Felt were capital-A Arty, but somehow in a humble-mumble way that was winning. We can never forget Duffy's organ work on the grand "Primitive Painters," which also had the Cocteau Twins singer Elisabeth Fraser in the mix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWbK22WV2DI&ab_channel=Felt-Topic

Me too.....huge reggae/ska fan. A lot of great musicians are being taken out. 😞
