Jimmy Kimmel Falls Ill, Cancels Event With Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert
September 21, 2023
Jimmy Kimmel tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, forcing him to cancel an upcoming live event called "Strike Force Three." Kimmel would have taken the stage with fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, but now the entire event has been canceled. Kimmel shared the sad news in a social media post. "Well, Las Vegas, I got Covid, and sadly, we need to cancel this weekend's Strike Force Three show," he wrote. "I could never live with myself if I got my hometown friends sick. Thanks to all who purchased tickets, everyone will get full refunds and we will try to reschedule if possible." This "Strike Force Three" show was meant to be a live iteration of the Strike Force Five podcast - a show that Kimmel, Fallon, Colbert, Seth Meyers and John Oliver started in August. In addition to giving them a platform while their shows are off the air, the podcast raises money that goes to the writers and crew members of the show, allowing them to stand strong on the WGA strike.
Kimmel is militantly “vaccinated”:
Anthony Fauci
by Jimmy Kimmel
September 22, 2020
As the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread to the U.S., there was one person millions of Americans immediately knew we could turn to for guidance: Dr. Anthony Fauci. As director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Fauci has advised six Presidents over 36 years. When COVID-19 reared its ugly head, he was among the first to step forward with facts and only facts.
Dr. Fauci doesn’t sugarcoat his words and refuses to be pressured by politicians. He delivers the truth, as difficult as it may be to hear, earnestly and with one goal: to save lives. His courage and candor have earned our trust. We are all fortunate to have a man of his wisdom, experience and integrity to help us navigate these difficult waters.

Jimmy Kimmel says unvaccinated people shouldn't get ICU beds in hospitals
September 8, 2021
Jimmy Kimmel returned from his summer hiatus Tuesday and shared his blunt thoughts on those who've chosen not to get the coronavirus vaccine. In his opening monologue, the comedian said unvaccinated people should not take up beds in hospitals' intensive-care units. Kimmel then said it wasn't a very happy Labor Day weekend, as coronavirus cases were up 300% from a year ago. "Dr. Fauci said if hospitals get any more crowded, they're going to have to make some very tough choices about who gets an ICU bed," Kimmel said. "That choice doesn't seem so tough to me," he added. "Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right on in. We'll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy who gobbled horse goo? Rest in peace, wheezy."

September 21, 2023

Axl Rose Is Sick: Guns N' Roses Dismiss Conspiracy Theory Surrounding Show's Cancelation
September 21, 2023
Far from what people claimed that Guns N' Roses suffered low ticket sales, Axl Rose commented on the decision and clarified that they were forced to cancel the show. The concert in question was scheduled for September 9 at the St. Louis' Busch Stadium before the band postponed it due to illness. Guns N' Roses promised to set a rescheduled date but offered refunds to those who could not make it. In a screenshot shared on Reddit, the band revealed that they failed to find a new date after postponing the show. Fans who previously attended Guns N' Roses shows before the St. Louis performance noted that Rose indeed told the crowd in Lexington, Ky., that he was getting sick and that his voice "was fading." The singer also said that he suffered vocal issues while performing in Saratoga Springs, New York. Rose previously faced a similar issue when he suddenly felt light-headed and nauseous during a concert in Chicago in August 2022, affecting his voice, as well.

Sufjan Stevens hospitalised with Guillian-Barre Syndrome: “I woke up one morning and couldn’t walk”
September 20, 2023
Sufjan Stevens has opened up about being hospitalised with Guillian-Barre Syndrome after the illness left him unable to walk. In a lengthy instagram post, the indie-folk musician said his symptoms of the illness first began to show last month. “My hands, arms and legs were numb and tingling and I had no strength, no feeling, no mobility.” The rare disorder causes the body to attack its own nerves, which initially results in weakness and tingling in the hands and feet before spreading across the body and causing paralysis. The musician says he was diagnosed with the condition in hospital, after which he spent two weeks bed bound “while my doctors did all the things to keep me alive and stabilise my condition. I owe them my life.” The musician went on to reveal that he is currently undergoing “intensive physical therapy/occupational therapy, strength building etc to get my body back in shape and to learn to walk again.” He added: “It’s a slow process, but they say I will ‘recover,’ it just takes a lot of time, patience and hard work. Most people who have GBS learn to walk again on their own within a year, so I am hopeful … I’m committed to getting better, I’m in good spirits, and I’m surrounded by a really great team.”
Dixie D’Amelio Gives Rare Health Update On Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder Diagnosis: ‘I Wasn’t Just Going Crazy’
September 20, 2023
Dixie D'Amelio is getting candid about her health journey with PMDD. During Season 3 of her family's Hulu reality series The D'Amelio Show, the TikTok star opens up about getting diagnosed with premenstrual dysphoric disorder, which she first revealed in October 2022. According to Johns Hopkins , premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a severe and chronic condition that can cause depression, fainting and vision changes, among other symptoms. The disorder, in part, caused D'Amelio to remain "in bed for the last three months of 2022" as she worked on her mental health. Since her PMDD diagnosis, D'Amelio exclusively told The Messenger, "it's been back and forth. I have good days and bad days," she continued. "Knowing that I wasn't just going crazy, and there wasn't something wrong with my brain — it's just something that other people go through — was very nice to hear." The "Be Happy" singer added that the official diagnosis means she can share it with those around her — including sister Charli, whom she lives with. During the first two episodes of The D'Amelio Show Season 3, the siblings struggle to deal with some of Dixie's symptoms, like irritability and anxiety.
Denny Laine of the original Moody Blues and Wings:
Denny Laine medical & physical rehabilitation
September 21, 2023
Hello, this is Elizabeth Hines, Denny’s wife, asking for a helping hand on Denny’s behalf.
As you may know, Denny has been going through health issues these past several months, which recently turned critical.
For the past two months, he’s been in and out of the hospital concerning an illness in his lungs that developed after his short bout with COVID last year. He’s had multiple tests, X-rays and scans that are ongoing, along with three surgeries, most recently for a collapsed lung, which includes an inserted chest tube that is temporarily needed until his lung heals.
He recently contracted a bacterial infection in his blood, which he is still battling, but seems to be under control.
The doctors have explained once he’s medically well, he will need several weeks of physical and occupational rehabilitation. Denny does not have medical insurance...
I want to thank you all in advance for your continued love, prayers, encouragement and support during this difficult time. ❤️

Jimmy Kimmel testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, forcing him to entirely cancel his upcoming "Strike Force Three" live event with Fallon and Colbert is simply priceless.
Perhaps they'll roll in a ventilator for him while Colbert and Fallon sing & dance around his bed dressed up as hypodermic needles.
