I can so relate. The ladies' choir that I had joined at the end of 2019 via my local music school went all-in for masks (singers' masks!) and a jab requirement. Just when I was beginning to unlock the secrets of singing well, I had to opt-out. I cannot, will not, sing in a mask. I cannot, will not, take an experimental injection (I have naturally-acquired immunity via the natural infection.) So much for the arts. My heart is broken.

My heart aches for these young people who will not comply. I am praying this experience will make them happier and stronger people in the long run. There are so many who stand behind you. We just all have to find our true tribes now.

As a former pro dancer, this makes me furious. What happened to artists??? And bravo to you for keeping on truckin'. We will come out of this and you'll be a better artist for having learned to stand up for something. Go Daisy's Daughter!

I can see this happening to people and kids across the country if the segregation madness does not stop soon.

Just like 30+ years ago when I got tired of wearing my ugly “patriotic” communist scarf around my neck six days/ week during school hours while growing up in Communist Romania.

Then my classmates would report me to the School Communist party leaders.

I would get penalized and forced to stay in front of the classroom with my hands up for hours while facing the corner walls and sitting on my knees.

It was a horrible way of “Behavior correcting.”

Segregation of any sorts must be avoided at any cost.

This situation never fails to astound me. As a born New Yorker, I just can’t believe how the whole arts community is so passive and worse. Kudos to you all for speaking and singing out! God bless!

Thank you, MCM. World's still crazy. You'd think with all the data surfacing, those making/continuing these insane rules would open their ears. I'm in Baltimore. Every time I turn on NPR, my previous go-to station for info, I'm revolted. ALL the commentators there have one stance, it seems. Guess NPR, et al, receive too much $$$ from Pfizer, et al, to look at deeper truths. Wish you could help, somehow, get truthful data to them. And, yeah, I was, before last two years, one who embraced so much ideology from the left. Do they not see what their stance re the Covid/Vacc narratives, continued push for mandates, refusal to look at reality of VAERS, etc., etc. is doing to some (many?) of their base? Like why/how a Repub governor was elected in VA? And, NO, I do NOT want Mr. Trump back on the scene again. So, yeah, so often feels like I'm treading water, with no anchor to grab. It's all bewildering. Haven't 'checked in' to see what's happening in Ottawa today... almost afraid to... and concerned about the insane measures Mr. Biden may take to prevent such a beautiful Freedom Convoy here in U.S. More and more restrictions coming? Keep on keeping on, Mark Crispin Miller.. and yeah, I remember the days of your film series in Baltimore (through JHU?)... a lifetime ago, it seems.

Same here in San Francisco. Most venues are requiring fully vaxed and booster from kids 5 and up. By a miracle my daughter dances at 1 school that doesn’t require. But she can’t go in any venue, theatre, music, etc and neither can I, for that matter. And there are NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Just amazing. The video is moving. Won't it be something if the truckers lead us to freedom. I'm so glad the girls singing have not given up, but are using their talent to promote freedom.

News: The cause of actor/comedian Bob Saget’s death was due to him hitting his head hard on something; he thought he was fine and went to bed and died in his sleep! Was his fall jab related, like Heather McDonald’s?
