Life is a risk from the moment of conception. People are dying all the time. The biggest fear-mongering of all is that if you do this you will die, or if you don't do this you will die. Your body will die regardless of what you do. It is merely the "space suit" you put on to inhabit planet Earth. Your spirit - the real you, however, is eternal. Energy is neither created or destroyed; it is merely transformed.
I have been questioning from the beginning - where is the ACLU? Where are all the lawsuits that should have sprung up immediately when the lockdowns were pushed on us? This explains some of that, thank you. Not encouraging at all but at least this talk explains it a bit.
I appreciate your articles showing all the sudden deaths. Must be emotionally difficult to do those. Sometimes I have to stop reading and return later to finish.
Great podcast with RFK Jr! I can't get over it as well, that the left is hammering the fascist nails into our oligarchic coffin (I would have said Democratic coffin, but I think we lost that a good decade ago).
“The Thing is a thoroughly engaging sci-fi thriller that revolves around an alien entity with the horrifying ability to assimilate living beings. An essential horror experience, The Thing is a fan-favourite of modern audiences as well and many fans revisited it when the pandemic broke out all over the world.
While reflecting on the relevance of the film, Carpenter commented in an interview: “The Thing is a film about an alien—but it can be read as a metaphor for this pandemic, this disease. The appearance of normalcy is all-important for the creature. It wants to imitate perfectly, so no one can tell who’s sick and who’s not.”
Naturally Carpenter will seize on anything that boosts his baby’s status. But he also seems to be doing his bit for directing the public away from “misinfo”:
“The director talked about his own childhood and said that there was an omnipresent climate of scepticism and suspicion now. “In the United States there’s always been a cult of ignorance,” he said. “Always has been, and it’s just the way it is. Somehow it’s in our nature. Some people believe that ignorance is just as good as expertise. And it’s not true, but maybe it seems like freedom,” Carpenter mused.”
So nice to listen to an intelligent, sane conversation for a change. I'm so tired of the fear-mongering on both sides of the issues today.
It isn't fear-mongering when people are dying.

Thank you for this excellent interview, indeed.

The ACLU has been suborned by Foundation monies. Now they just sue to make sure transexuals can compete in women's sports and go to women's prisons.

2110. Prostitutes are being maligned over and over. They are not involved in murder and horrific lies.
They do prostitute themselves.
But so much more is my point: mass freaken murder, child murder...
You are both very decent men. There are so few we get to hear.
I hear all these insults against Robert. I hear nothing but logic and decency. I'm glad I ran across you, Mark.
You guys are the kind of liberals I like. The neo liberal is just a euphemism for fascist.
Another sci-fi horror contagion movie re-appropriated as covid propaganda:
