November 2, 2022
Teddi Mellencamp is staying positive while she battles skin cancer. “Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with Teddi about her melanoma diagnosis and how she hopes her story will help others. Teddi said she’s “doing okay,” admitting, “I might get a little bit emotional just having this conversation right now.” Mellencamp revealed that her doctors have found more melanomas. She said, “Right before I jumped on this Zoom, my doctor called and said that they found two more melanomas when they biopsied… It’s just been such a whirlwind for me. For me, that is why I have been openly talking up because it was something I took for granted for so many years.”
She went on, “I thought when I was at BravoCon I was coming home… and having the surgery… All of a sudden my husband started getting very quiet with me… Finally on my plane ride home, he goes, ‘I need to tell you, they canceled your surgery.’ ‘What do you mean? Why are you telling me now?’… Because there are so many melanomas in one location.” While Teddi feels physically fine, she has six melanomas, adding, that they’re “all different levels, they’re stages, and levels.” She is having them all removed and finding out whether it has spread to her lymph nodes.
Terry Bradshaw Shares Health Update One Month After Revealing Battle With Bladder and Skin Cancer
November 2, 2022
Terry Bradshaw recently tackled the biggest opponent he's ever faced: cancer.
The former NFL quarterback gave fans an update on his health journey on the Nov. 2 episode of Today, one month after revealing he battled not one, but two kinds of cancer within a year on Fox NFL Sunday.
The 74-year-old—who starred on the E! reality series The Bradshaw Bunch— previously shared that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer in Nov. 2021 and had become cancer free after receiving treatment at the Yale University Medical Center.
But after experiencing neck pains, Terry learned he had also developed a rare Merkel cell skin cancer tumor in March 2022—news that particularly worried his wife, Tammy Bradshaw.
"The doctors calls me to tell me what it is, and then I'm shook because I was a radiation therapist for 10 years," she told Today. "I knew where this could go. I knew what the outcomes could be. And it did scare me the second time with that diagnosis."

October 26, 2022
Karina Báez, former Pumas Femenil coach, is in better health and in recovery due to heart surgery that was performed this weekend. And it is that RECORD was able to know that it was real that her departure from coach box was due to a combination of health issues and the team's results. The technician underwent an operation for a cardiac issue, which was already scheduled and of which she was fully aware, but also that the results were not good for the felines, as they did not qualify and America beat them 6-1, so in the end it coincided that Pumas did not advance and Báez had to attend surgery, so it was determined that on the last day, assistant David Cotero would take charge of the technical direction.

Kenyans sweep NYC Marathon but Do Nascimento collapses in record heat
November 6, 2022
Evans Chebet of Kenya won the New York City Marathon men’s race and Sharon Lokedi of Kenya won the women’s race on Sunday, both of them making a splash in their debuts.
Daniel Do Nascimento, who had been leading the entire men’s race, collapsed around the 21-mile mark. Chebet finished in 2hr 8min 41sec, which was 13 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Shura Kitata of Ethiopia.
Do Nascimento got out to a fast start on an unseasonably warm day and led by nearly two minutes for most of the race. The Brazilian collapsed at Mile 21, just before he crossed back into Manhattan from the Bronx, and was attended to by medical staff. A few miles earlier, he had taken a 20=second bathroom break.
It was an unseasonably warm day in New York with the temperature hitting 74F (23C) in Central Park at 11am, just before the elite runners completed the course. That made it the hottest race since the marathon moved to November in 1986. The November average for New York City is 48F (9C). The previous November high for the New York City Marathon was set in 1993, when the mercury reached 70F, according to New York Road Runners, the race organizers.

We started the year, they told me that it was likely that I would not be able to play more to football, that my life was at risk. It has been a hard and exhausting year for me and my family. I tried to do what I always did, be there to try to contribute from the outside. I had a clear objective, which was to return to the fields I fought for it, but it was very exhausting, a very hard process."
