Two years ago would have been best and the pressure to remain quiet is much lower now, but this is still good and important. Our best hope for fighting their next pandemic with the same awful solutions is if more comedians, celebrities and journalists acknowledge the failures during covid. It's the only way to wake the masses.

One high-profile comedian or entertainer making great and true points early on could have perhaps saved countless lives. If the first person had come out - and received a little support - this might have emboldened others to do the same. The same is true with politicians.

DeSantis later became the most prominent lockdown skeptic ... and he actually was rewarded for doing this. This probably told other governors and mayors they could do the same thing.

About the only entertainer I remember speaking out about the lockdowns was Van Morrison - and he was attacked ruthlessly. I don't remember any prominent actors doing this. A few athletes refused vaccines, but they really didn't use their celebrity platforms to expound on all the good reasons they weren't doing this. This was respectful and mild dissent when we needed bold and articulate dissent.

Still, better late than never with Dana Carvey. I'm curious to see what happens to him now or if he keeps talking about this taboo topic.

There have been a number of celebrities that did not conform to the covid/plandemic program and went public with it. But among comedians and entertainers, it is quite a rare crowd.

Russell Brand, Jenny McCarthy, Joe Rogan

Novak Njokovic (tennis), Kyrie Irving and John Stockton (NBA)

Of those 3 athletes, only John Stockton was speaking out publicly on lockdowns and the covid program, but all three were taking a stand and letting the public know.

Should also mention Ken Ruettgers, his wife Sheryl got the shot and has been injured. They started C19VaxReactions in 2021. Ken & Sheryl joined Senator Ron Johnson in holding early public hearings on covid vaccine injuries. Ken is in the NFL hall-of-fame.

Others have commented on these celebrities: JP Sears, Roseanne Barr, Jimmy Dore, ex-SNL: Jim Breuer and Rob Schneider

Expand full comment

Adding to the list, Aaron Rodgers (NFL) has refused the C19 shot. Comedian Bill Maher has made a few statements, “Now they want us to do these boosters. I don’t want a booster. I never wanted the vaccine, I took one for the team. - - - But a booster every eight months, you’re going to put that shit in me? I don’t know about that, maybe I don’t need one, I don’t want a one-size-fits-all."

Last week Bill Maher interviewed RFK, Jr. for nearly two hours.

He spoke out with the help of Morrison after being injection injured - unlike Morrison who, the rarest of celebrities, went against the wind early and bravely for no other reason than to speak truth.

One of the more memorable moments for me was in some interview I saw Eric Clapton mention that the phone stopped ringing. NONE of his friends would talk to him anymore once he came out negative about the vaxx. I am like wow, Eric Clapton? People have lost their minds. It was quite sad. I wanted to tell him I would talk to him and that I still loved him.

Yep. Eric Clapton has also spoken out - and, as you say, even recorded a song. It's a travesty what happened to all the musicians who couldn't play music for two years. Think of all the musicians whose careers might have been on the cusp of "breaking through" that never did. I call these the "unknown unknowable" victims of the Covid hysteria.

I haven't seen that either. I also hadn't seen Roseanne's strong words ... so there must be more comedians out there pushing back against the narrative than I know of. Of course, it would figure that the acts of such contrarians would be ... censored and not talked about ... to keep other people from watching such routines and sharing these routines.

Yes I suspect that's generally the case, that there has been much more pushback that even we, who are pushing back, have any idea. I keep coming upon things I so wish I had been aware of in 2020, 2021, 2022, but I'd had no idea. The censorship and shadow-banning was not 100% but it was, and is, nonetheless, very effective.

That's the corollary of my maxim. The people who did castigate skeptics were rewarded and received much "positive affirmation" for their bullying monologues. Cicely Tyson also "died suddenly" later that month of Jan. 2021. Tyson, Marvin Hagler and Earl Simmons all died soon after getting the covid vaccine.

Ex-Supreme Mary Wilson died suddenly in Feb. 2021, no report if it was from a vaccine reaction but Mary was in good health just the day before.

another note about hank aaron - every major newspaper reported that the coroner said it wasn't the vaccine. but there was no autopsy and the coroner never saw aaron. it was RFK Jr who got to the bottom of this little propaganda gem. what happened was, some reporter emailed the coroner and asked in a very general sense whether a vaccine could be a cause of death, and the coroner said no i don't think so. then all the reporting heavily implied that there was an autopsy or at least some level of investigation, but there wasn't.

Sarah Silverman is not funny, clever with words or anything close to comedic. This clip shows her to be dull, flat, and uninformed.

Also, I found her offensive when she said, 'Your body isn't a temple'.

I would disagree with this statement, which is in a counterstatement to a statement in

I Corinthians 6:19 (always best read in context)

'Have you forgotten that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you, and that you are not the owner of your own body? You have been bought, and at what a price! Therefore bring glory to God both in your body and your spirit, for they both belong to him.' Phillips translation.

Expand full comment

The "Your body isn't a temple" directly contradicts what she just said: that if you anti-vaxers eat crap fast food, you might as well also get vaccinated. If you listen closely, this video is not so offensive because of this very obvious--even funny, crazy reversal, but also because I detect no anger at us, but rather a sisterly funny confused admonishment.

The Colbert video is also not angry. (Obviously he is at other times) It seems to me kind of fun, but not really reproachful. Maybe I'm missing something.

The McDonald piece looks staged, but i guess it was real. Why would it be otherwise? The audience, however, laughed when she passed out but, of course, she really did.

I see some comments suggesting Carvey and Spade should have done this comedy bit two years ago.

Folks...be thankful for what is happening now. The more people like Carvey and Spade do humorous routines about Covid, the more those still getting jabs will be jarred into accepting that people are making fun of them. We need as many people as possible to be forewarned and prepared for the next medical "emergency" and the next medical procedure they want to introduce. We want people to stand up and immediately say, "Hell, no!! I don't believe you. Where's your evidence? Who funded you? Etc."

I'm impressed by the many substackers who continue posting and confronting those in the orthodox medical establishment. Many now question the entire childhood vaccination schedule. I'm impressed by the numbers of people who do their own studies as well as those expert in dissecting studies. I'm impressed by the number of ongoing and newly initiated lawsuits addressing a myriad of issues connected with lockdowns to holding employers who mandated the vaccination responsible for subsequent ill health coupled to loss of income and medical expenses.

I've never seen such a response, and we need everyone of them.

This is laugh out loud hilarious.

To everyone saying Carvey & Spade should have spoken up before now... well, sure, that would have been ideal. But also a pipe dream. Because Fauci, Pfizer, Operation Warp Speed, Gates, etc, have billions of dollars at their disposal for an organized global propaganda military operation, and we've got some substacks.

The best case scenario for us is that they pushed too hard and people starting seeing through the propaganda. And that's exactly what's happening. Vaccine uptake for childhood vaccines is hitting record lows. People are going to funerals and connecting the dots. Not everyone, and this is NOT reflected at all in the media. But it's happening.

You know the real test for vaccine "true believers"? How to tell who just complied for work (because frankly they never imagined heart failure, cancer, or death could be a real side effect), and who are the hard line true believers like Colbert? In my opinion, the barometer for this is how many people vaccinated their below school-aged children. In other words, how many people volunteered their children for the jab without any external pressure. The answer (most recent number I saw) was 4% of kids under age 5 were Covid jabbed. This is really good news, they don't truly believe the BS, not when it comes to something important like their children.
