The paranormal is the most taboo, though any spiritual path which includes nonordinary experiences and models is also taboo. Evolutionary (and quantum biology are paradigmatically at odds with paranormal and physics/philosophical research models too. My hypothesis is that this is not an accident or random. There is more, of course, like the sarcophagus being cemented over all healing and medical innovation that isn't lucrative, but my sense is that these are the paths to foster.

(You can put it on in the background and listen to it. No need to watch.). Patrick documents the history of the transhumanism movement going back over the past 100 or so years, citing ancestors of the current 'elite' who have long been involved in the movement to control the World's population and how transhumanism was called other names in the past and how they evolved it to its present form.
Quite simply, whilst the World's billions have been trying to get on with our lives these sods have been plotting, manipulating and planning for decades. Anyway, you might find it of interest.
