Re: Bruce Springsteen Broadway return:

"His is also the first show to announce a Covid vaccine mandate for audience members. Some, like Hamilton, will require vaccines for its cast and crew. But Springsteen is setting a precedent many industry players seem ready to follow.

“Vaccines should be mandatory for everybody,” said producer Barry Diller in an earlier interview. “It’s crazy to think otherwise. The only way that any of us are going to get protection against each other or feel protected, is if you’re vaccinated and the person you’re inches away from is vaccinated.”

Reading this crap, infuriates me! People were so self-righteous. I wonder how they felt when they found out that the "vaccines" were never even tested for transmission? Oh wait, they probably still don't know that!

If mainstream medicine worked no-one would use anything else and the fact they do want to use something else tells me mainstream often doesn't work. Very few cancer treatments have any better outcomes than they did 40 years ago and now unlike back then people die having lost what little time they did have to lying ill in bed with chemo poisoning. That is why most oncologists wouldn't touch the treatments they push for others. Weird that in the "free" West so many cheap and cheerful things that might work are banned and yet in the "un-free" rest of the world people can use whatever they want.

Expand full comment
INGRID C DURDEN's avatar

I remember seeing a documentary a while ago about a chinese hospital, where next to westernized medicine, there were acupuncturists, herbalist, and several other disciplins. They were interviewed and told that they all had to do a course of western medicine, but after that, they were free to practice their own specialty. A traditional healer told how he sent patients for an Xray, but then treated the broken bones with herbal treatment as before, he used the Xray to more accurately locate and evaluate the bones. The patient declared he would be healed in 6 weeks like this, while the westernized meds would have required 2 surgeries, and more than 2 months rehab.

Expand full comment
KarlM Alias's avatar

Surgery also. They have known for decades that it is worse than useless in cancer 'treatment' as it *will* spread the cancer cells around the body. So, if someone has a primary cancer which is surgically removed, they will end up with secondary cancers. Same with biopsies - untold numbers have had their lives shortened because they had a primary tumour biopsied.

Ahahaha--Bruce, you class-A jerk.

Did I ever tell the NFU fam about Bruce, circa 2005, in Monmouth County, NJ? I lived in Bradley Beach, within walking distance from the Stone Pony. The ASBURY PARK PRESS was my paper. It was still worth reading at the time. There was an ongoing front-page above-the-fold story about his constant harassing of a woman at a gym they both belonged to in Freehold.

What a douche. I started to sour with his cheating on his first wife, that nice Julianne girl (whose parents were thoughtful enough to tack on the "e" so people wouldn't call her "Julian" her whole damn life!). Patty Scialfa is what we ginzes from Jersey call a "skievats" (or a puttan, take your pick and make macaroni). The saga of his repulsive stalking inflamed my dislike.

This disgust was followed by an article, I think in a Sunday edition of the APP, about how this scumbag wrote off his Freehold property as a farm because he had some lady with a few animals renting a bit of it. Or some shit like that. Who remembers details? My mom was terminally ill, so I was tending to her and to my little bro w/Down syndrome.

Anyhoo, the coup de grâce (mercy for me, really, from bad music!) was my unvarnished truthfulness to myself about his mostly inane and definitely superficial music. Around 2006 I deemed him an "asshoe," to quote a Hong Kong freedom fighter, Paladin Chang.

No sympathy for the devil.

People like Springsteen, who lived in the next town from us for decades, most likely have heard stories about how polio took family members (or other diseases) and that the Holy Grail of Savior was the introduction of the vaccine. Which is hogwash, says this polio vaccine injured woman in her 60s. This "story" of the savior vaccine is very powerful and permeates generations, so much so, that common sense, historical context and facts, fail to play any part. Knowing that Springsteen was always an outlier, I would bet he lost a family member somewhere to something that was diagnosed (correctly or not) as a disease now gone thanks to vaccines. I cannot fathom any other reason WHY he would take such a stance.

Well, as someone who came from "Springsteen Country", I would say he was not a part of the blackmail island scene. This is a guy who only wanted to play music, so much so, in his early recording career, he gave up certain rights to play AT ALL for YEARS in the 1970s. And it really opened his eyes up further about working for The Man. Watch his concerts from when he was ALLOWED by The Man who controlled his music to go back to work (1978s Prove it All Night comes to mind) and you will see this guy was all about his music. That's not to say he didn't have affairs (first page news at The Jersey Shore), but he was not into anything but making his kind of music. Just saying.
