They can buy, and jab, as many rockers as they want, but They can't kill the spirit of the music
Great songs!
Thank you Mark! I am very honored that my piece is included. And what a strange year has is been...
One of the greatest political lies ever told by one of the greatest most adept liars to have ever lived.

What a fun list, Mark, and I look forward to exploring these! I have been collecting songs for my Resistance Art playlist over the past year so no doubt will add some of these.
I have become especially fond of Five Times August and featured their “Sad Little Man” in my “Letter to an Agree-to-Disagree Relative” (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/letter-to-an-agree-to-disagree-relative). I also include their “I Will Not Be Leaving Quietly” in the letter I plan to publish today.
One of my favorite new resistance artists is Lukas Lion, whose “1984” I featured in my last post (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/dispatches-from-the-new-normal-front) along with the brilliant lyrics.
He has since released “1984, Part 2,” which was almost immediately banned on YouTube but is available here: https://odysee.com/@lukaslion:f/1984part2:8
Thank you. I will send this out.
Awesome and thanks so much, Mark! I really appreciate your News from Underground missives.
