Good luck, Mark. You were able to teach at a prominent university during what Bret Easton Ellis calls EMPIRE, now you can bear witness (along with the rest of us on Substack) during the rapid collapse to paranoid mediocrity.

Mark, you are a “stack” favorite. Your story proves to the letter Mattias Desmet’s mass formation..and yes, psychosis. I left NYC 3/9/2020. Will only return to see friends & family. The barbarians are ingrained. The lunatics created & run the asylums.

I salute your courage to endure what most could not...God Bless you, Professor. I pray for your victory over evil.

Good luck Mark. It’s pretty heinous that people can attempt to destroy you and your career and face no consequences.

Good on you for seeing it all the way through.

I have a former friend who won’t speak to me because I told him I trusted your work and had seen nothing in your writing that wasn’t rational and truthful. He pulled up one of the hit pieces to try and convince me he was right that you are a deranged psychopath who is a danger to society. I countered with Matt Taibi’s piece (back then Matt wasn’t the newly minted right wing extremist we’ve all now become so I figured it was a good bet). Nope.

My friend basically called me a q-anon conspiracy theorist and has never spoken to me again. For all I know he could be dead. He’s a multiple self inflicted jab victim.

I’d send this to him just to stick it up him but I don’t actually care about his opinion so …

Again, good luck. You (and many other substackers have kept me sane for the last few years and the silver lining to your troubles is you’re our professor now. I don’t know if I ever would have found your work if it wasn’t for the plandemic.

It's so strange that people invest so much in one belief or another to the extent it makes them incapable of reason even when they evince a perfect ability to reason away from areas where their beliefs aren't challenged. I find it so strange. I know I have no exceptional reasoning abilities but the thing I do have that I see in very, very short supply is a lack of investment in belief - that's really the key, lack of inclination to believe one way or another and to simply judge by the evidence. Why people WANT to believe one thing or another I do not know, why not simply want to know the truth?

I'm a New Yorker and when I first heard your story I wondered how someone like you survived at NYU as a person with common sense, genuine intelligence and discernment lol I've been fighting here since this movie started. Been to the protests, joined a group of people determined to maintain our sovereignty, had to hire an attorney to keep my job in healthcare etc. I so appreciate people like you who have a public platform and you took the risk of being an honest person in a sea of disingenuous sheep. I believe that people like you were born for this moment in history to do exactly what you're doing right now. Thank you!

Kudos to you Mark for standing up for your rights and by precedent, the rights of others, potentially ALL Americans.

I took a public speaking class in college that opened my eyes up (mildly) to the concept of college as a place of philosophical debate. Unfortunately, many colleges are so liberal and now so woke and the generation of students now attending being the children of parents who as kids were in the "everyone gets a soccer trophy," era, are so over sensitized to anything not the official narrative. Of course, that has been carefully manipulated by the cabal to create angst and conflict at every turn. You unfortunately are caught up in it and unintentionally are a poster boy for free speech - a somewhat enviable but mostly unwanted position for most people. Many of us have your back whether that's obvious to you or not.

Also, you and I don't always see eye to eye here, but you have never deleted my comments or banned me. I've been banned on a couple of substacks by writers that don't like dissent from their righteous positions. So agreeable sometimes or not, I appreciate your tolerance for alternative views and avoidance of suppression of speech you don't agree with.

Same for me.

Some of my comments have been strong and offensive, but they've never been deleted. That's why a lot of us stand with you, and, if you ever asked for help, we'd provide it.

Who knew in early 2020 that the entire world was going to go mad and that truth and common sense would be nearly completely lost? I'm so tired of this insanity. If I didn't know that God is sovereign and that one day He will make all things right, I couldn't bear it.

It's simply unbelievable, it truly is. Good luck. There are no words really at the utter absurdity.

Dr Michael Yeadon, former top respiratory scientist at Pfizer, speaking at a rally in London and really telling it like it is, explains how masks are simply "splash-guards" - great term for them.

Who thinks that there's any similarity in the way power exerts influence over the people to the way stoats fascinate rabbits?

"The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants, and it provides the further advantage of giving the servants of tyranny a good conscience." --- Albert Camus

Your student is a perfect example of "servant of tyranny" as are the rest of them.

...charges that they claimed to be “the truth”—was just their “pure opinion,” and so “cannot be viewed as DEFAMATION...." Who is behind this insatiable desire to destroy the notion of facts? To make words meaningless? To render research irrelevant (because as a biostatistician who has read a bunch of research papers on this, not only do masks not work against viruses, they don't even seem to work against tremendously larger bacteria). Perhaps related, I didn't care about trans issues in the beginning, other than to be sympathetic and accepting, but now I have to pretend it's not contrary to all reality that Dylan Mulvaney is hoping to become pregnant?

Was post-modernism always some kind of political push? Is post-modernism itself a CIA thing?
