TV presenter Jonnie Irwin has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and says that he hopes sharing his diagnosis will inspire others to "make the most of every day". The 48-year-old, who presents Channel 4 ’s A Place In The Sun and the BBC ’s Escape To The Country, revealed his lung cancer had spread to his brain, saying: “I don’t know how long I have left.” Irwin revealed the first warning sign of his illness came while he was filming A Place In The Sun in August 2020 in Italy, when his vision became blurry while driving. “Within a week of flying back from filming, I was being given six months to live,” he said. “I had to go home and tell my wife, who was looking after our babies, that she was on her own pretty much. That was devastating. All I could do was apologise to her. I felt so responsible.”
Olympic Swimmer, 24, Injured By Pfizer Covid Jab: ‘I Couldn’t Function – I Wanted to End My Life’
November 14, 2022
A British Olympic swimmer-turned-actress says she was nearly killed by a work-mandated Covid-19 vaccine, and that her debilitating side effects were ignored by the National Health Service (NHS). In a testimonial appearing in an Epoch Times documentary titled, “Safe and Effective: A Second Opinion,” Genevieve Florence, 24, details how her life took a turn for the worse after she landed her first big acting gig, which required her to be double-jabbed. “The industry required me to be double-vaccinated to work on films,” Florence described, adding, “I immediately regretted it soon as she put it in my arm. I just thought, ‘Well, what have I done?'” In the weeks that followed, Florence who previously competed in the European Olympics representing TeamGB began suffering debilitating headaches that prevented her from being able function normally.
“Symptoms after my first Pfizer jab: inability to control my body temperature and heart rate, agonising pain in my head that made the room spin, exhaustion, debilitating brain fog, chest pain, shaking, burning sensations. I couldn’t walk in a straight line, couldn’t walk properly,” Florence documented on Twitter last month. “I couldn’t do anything,” she admitted in the documentary. “It was like someone was actually inside my skull, like pushing out. I can’t explain how awful it was. And it was I was dizzy. I was literally crawling.” Recalling fears the symptoms could be permanent, Florence broke down in tears describing how she required assistance to perform normal everyday activities. “I really thought my life was over,” she sobbed. “I couldn’t even cook food. I couldn’t even get up. I couldn’t take care of myself. My mother came by twice a week to change my bedsheets, do a food shop for me, and clean my house. I couldn’t do anything at all.” To add insult to vaccine injury, Florence explained the NHS did not take her seriously. “It was the most terrifying experience to be told that what’s going on with you is psychological and that it’s not physical when you’re in physical pain,” Florence said.

While visiting family near Perth, on his way to a scholarship in Adelaide, the talented teenager collapsed without warning after suffering a heart attack while walking on a beach with his great-uncle. His uncle immediately started CPR and with the help of paramedics they brought the talented youngster back to life. Aldred was in a coma for nearly 72 hours at hospital and thought he was back at home in the UK when he regained consciousness. “I don’t have much memory of what happened,” Aldred told the West Australian.

The career of French international Ana Tadic in limbo due to a heart problem
November 13, 2022
Absent since the start of the Women's League season, Ana Tadic does not know if she will be able to play basketball again. On her return from the World Cup in Australia with the Blues, the tricolor international went through her pre-season medical examination, which detected a potential heart problem during the electrocardiogram when she returned from Sydney with a virus. A big blow for Tarbes because its extension was at the heart of the team's game plan alongside Isabelle Yacoubou. The TGB clarified the situation in a press release: “For more than five weeks, the club has been alongside the player on a daily basis and is monitoring her case to find out as quickly as possible about her sporting but above all medical situation. Without a clearly established diagnosis and without any control of the situation, the answers are slow to arrive and the vagueness is still total to this day. Ana is uncertain about the rest of her career and her health, which is the main concern to date. The file is in the hands of various specialists as well as the French basketball federation."

Antonella Clerici, sudden illness for the presenter: fear at “It's always noon”
November 14, 2022
In the last episode of her culinary program It's always noon , Antonella Clerici suffered a sudden illness that made everyone worry.
The well-known presenter was conducting another episode of her famous program as usual, when she was forced to stop. “I'm having a moment of difficulty”, she announced, during the presentation of a recipe by the baker Fulvio Marino. The presenter then sat on a nearby chair and remained silent for a long time, arousing the concern of all her collaborators in the studio.
An illness for which the reason is not known, but which is certainly an indication of a certain tiredness of the beloved presenter. Clerici herself, at the beginning of the episode, declared in front of the cameras that it is important to "switch off" sometimes, without letting yourself be carried away by the daily grind. Although she was unwell, Antonella still managed to complete the broadcast, like a true professional.

Jackie O overcomes hesitation and gets AstraZeneca vaccine on air
August 4, 2021
Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is the latest high-profile media personality to get a COVID-19 vaccination and encourage others to do the same. Henderson’s co-host Kyle Sandilands is already fully vaccinated with the Pfizer jab. “I’m fully vaccinated on Pfizer, because of white privilege,” he said on air. Henderson, meanwhile, indicated she was sick of waiting for that vaccine to become available to her “I am on a waiting list for Pfizer, but I just figured that AstraZeneca why not take it?,” she said “I would rather get the vaccination now because I’m worried that COVID’s out there and this strain is a bad one,” she added.

Adesanya references Chadwick Boseman as he talks 'medical' issue
November 14, 2022
Israel Adesanya referenced late movie star Chadwick Boseman when he fronted media after his UFC 281 defeat last night where he lost his middleweight title to Brazilian Alex Pereira. At a post-fight media conference Adesanya brought up an ongoing medical issue when asked what his plans are now and when will he fight again. "I mean, I don’t disclose everything. I’ve had some stuff that, you know, some medical stuff that I’ve just put on the back burner. It was stuff that people make fun of me for," he said. "I mean, yeah, I just got to look after myself because my health comes first. Even think about Chadwick Boseman when everyone was making fun of him. All he looks. So this. He looks so skinny. He looks so sleepy. Not knowing, behind the scenes, he was fighting cancer. People always make fun of me about, you know, my and my chest and other things, but they don’t know what I’m doing or what I’m going through in life, but I just keep everything on the back burner, so I just have some things to fix first and yeah, I’ll be back." Adesanya has previously had issues with a swollen chest which he put down to "unhealthy" lifestyle choices, including smoking marijuana. Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman died in 2020 at 43 after a private battle with cancer.
