Thank you, Mark, for once again calling out the faux Left on its utter blindness to the truth about COVID, the 2020 election, the January 6th protest, and even 9/11 and November 1963. Like many others who are posting here and elsewhere, I've lost friends and former colleagues who are totally caught up in what Mattias Desmet has described as "mass formation" -- fanatical adherence to false narratives that afford the illusion of safety while enabling people to avoid the truth in favor of maintaining their existing prejudices. Those were people I respected, marched with, donated to, and actually learned from. Sadly, they've become not only unreachable but actually part of the problem. For me, that has been shocking, heartbreaking, and profoundly disillusioning.

Maybe people like Micheal Moore, Amy Goodman, Noam Chomsky, Jello Biafra, Greg Palast, and Naomi Klein were always this insufferable, and now that they finally got what they wanted, Far Left Anti-American Radicalization of Everything, they'll gladly throw middle and working class people under the bus? It was always about using whatever Progressive ideology became mainstream for their own power and benefit, and pretending to care about marginalized groups, when they have nothing in common with the people they claim to represent. Follow the money and see who funds what. Upperclass Academia wants anyone who disagrees dead or ostracized from society.

So many lefties that I used to trust are now deaf, dumb and blind. God, what has happened to them? Makes me appreciate your insight so much. So grateful for your work, dear Mark.

Thank you, Prof. Miller, as always for your insight. One of the hardest things to get my head around is how all the people I once found solidarity with, respected, looked up to, marched with, and even donated to, have become tyrants, in league with the fascist murderers. Some of these people were not just my fellow activists, but friends. Now we cannot even talk to each other. Heartbreaking.

Wow. So many people I used to respect are turning out to be nimwits: Chomsky, Goodman, Benjamin...it's surreal.

Yes! For 10 years I transcribed and edited for an alternative media site. Though it began slowly, in the run-up to the last election and the beginning of extreme wokeness, I saw the site director (my friend, I believed) and the people whose interviews and speeches I had edited for years become increasingly unhinged, detached from their own critical thinking, until I could take it no more. I had noticed the early signs, for example, Chomsky's refusal to discuss details of 9/11 - this from a man who had never seen a detail he didn't like - and dismissed them. I have read by now numerous psychological explications of the mass hypnosis that, to my surprise, includes them, but will still never understand or come to terms with it.

She's fully vaccinated and boosted against critical thinking and veracity, but given the vaccines' egregious failure against COVID-19, maybe there is time for her to clear those excess proteins from her brain and recognize what's going on? Oh, well, maybe not.

She's a fraud. I've known it for years, thanks to people who actually work for peace. Great call out & take-down of the fake lefties. I'm so sick of them.

So glad I subscribed to NFU. This is an excellent piece and could easily become the curriculum for a course in, well, several things...

Thanks! I learned last year how blind Code Pink is when they sent me a Code Pink mask and a mug, which I hadn't asked for. I sent the mask back with a detailed letter, citing evidence and telling them I could never contribute again unless they reformed. Obviously they haven't.

So many of the people whose knowledge of the political and social and economic state of the world is extensive and insightful are far too ignorant of Science. Science is removed from the "liberal arts", considered esoteric and incomprehensible to those outside of it, and that allows for staggering corruption, and frauds that are so vast that they beggar belief. People with well deserved cynicism for foreign policy can be naïve and trusting of science. I think that unless someone approached the start of this madness two years ago with past experiences that made them cast a questioning and skeptical eye, that they would be very prone to fall for all of it.

Mark, I saw Medea Benjamin advocating for vaccine accessibility in developing countries several months ago and was appalled. I told her what thought but it made no difference. No more donations to CodePink from me.

Another great piece Mark. The frustration you feel with those on the reasonable left is also felt by libertarians and classical liberals who look around at their allies and fellow travellers with astonishment and disbelief. Are these the peopl with whom we have been defending individual rights and liberties, people who, we felt, were clear-headed about the corruptions of power and money and ideology? The positive news is that we are discovering new allies -- a new movement is forming amongst those who are, in truth, committed to liberty, bodily autonomy, privacy, and so forth. All of us can, at least, agree on one thing: we say no to the gulag. Thanks for all your work, Jonathan
