"Investigations are underway to understand the cause of the accident."

I predict more bafflement. Bafflement is very zeitgeisty.

It is beginning to seem as if flying at altitude (particularly ascending and descending) is similar to playing an athletic event in its effect on the circulatory system. Pressure changes exacerbating instability of the circulatory system?

Funny how things don't change in the US. This old 1999 movie, "The Insider," relates the same we are witnessing today, 1:12:18 mn: corporate moguls poisoning people for profit: https://youtu.be/OdUI_0mIkec?t=4338

OMG when will these people face up to this!? Now we have a new excuse for footballers dying, .... they must have died because they were upset that Pele died. 🙄

I am (generally) familiar with these processes, as a layman.

(Overly simple understanding)

"Strokes" can be described, as:

1. Occlusive: a blood clot, within a feeding artery, to the brain, is completely blocked, & brain tissue, does not receive O2.

2. Hemorrhagic: a blood clot attaches itself to same artery, but remains small & reduces blood flow, but not fully. Over time, the clot irritates the interior lining (tunica intima) of the artery, begins a low-grade inflammatory condition, which over time irritates & possibly thins artery wall, with more time it weakens. Weakened/thinned portion of vessel wall "balloons", undo pressure then bursts blood thru wall, into hemorrhage.

I think that might be close.

But any MD would know best.

Hope the lady gets better.

But both type, their etiologies are/may be associated with clot formation.

Hemorrhagic type, may be due to other causes, besides clot formation.

Happened at our flight gate Thursday before Christmas. As we were preparing to load. The defibrillator didn’t work so as we were ushered away rescue was trying manual CPR. He just dropped. Was very shocking I don’t know what happened later. We were quickly boarded and left.

... and still the masses (max = 70%), do not see the connection. We whiteys were the idiots (sorry to generalise and if you are not white blah blah) because many Asian, African and even some South American Countries UNDERSTOOD AND SAID NO - so they have such low uptakes on the clot shot.
